Hello, I tried this to the correct mixtures but for some reason it was still white. Only thing I didn’t do was mix it so I will have to try this. Any idea why it wouldn’t?
Make sure to have the right concentration of food dye, more is better since it gets diluted quickly. With the amounts I was using, 2 oz was enough only for one side, to do an entire vehicle I would need 10 oz and a full foam cannon of soap. The cannon setting is important too so that too much water doesn't dilute the mixture. Anyway, thank you for watching and you have an awesome channel, keep up the great work!
I just pour the soap into the foam cannon cup. The cannon adds water to the solution at the dial setting on the cannon. I do not know the exact ratio used but I use the "foamiest" setting, which I believe uses the least water. Hope that helps!
I didn't have any staining on the vehicle or concrete driveway but I did rinse both immediately after. It might stain your clothes, faded paint, and canvas tops though.
Hey Hanuman, these colors are from food coloring that was added to car wash soap. Regular food coloring you can get at the store. I bought mine on Amazon.
I didn't get any of the diluted soap on my clothes or skin, but the concentrated dye, before mixing it with the soap, definitely will stain almost anything it touches/
I dont recommend for "Verts". Especially a white or tan top. I like the experiment, but this is not the proper way to make or create a colored professional snow foam. There are "certain" car soaps and colored concentrates that work extremely well when mixed together. Its not that easy if you dont know what to buy.
@@blackjack444.... it is bro...🤣....BlackJack got me laughin... still to this day... youtube detailers, pros and general public cant seem to figure out...unbelievable, yet these people get thousands of views...smh
I just Googled black food coloring...and it looks like its available. I'll have to give it a shot sometime, though black car wash foam would look weird! 😂
As you know it's not soap , it's synthetic detergent or surfactant : Sodium Laurel Sulphate . Great Videos . Thank You .

Fill the foam cannon with pure soap not diluted with water
@@OwenLucas hello
Did you mix water in the foam cannon with soap right
I just add the soap and coloring, the cannon adds water when you pull the trigger.
Okay I know some people dilute the soap if it thicker
The blue is awesome
Thank you very much for the video, can't wait to try that
once mixed did you dilute the soap with water inside the foam cannon?

@@OwenLucas Thank you
will they dye when left dry?
Soooo awesomeee
Sir what is the ratio of food coloring if you put in one liter?
.6 oz of food coloring for every 200ml of soap.
That was great. Just 1 question, may sound silly - does it leave any (small) stains?
The were no stains anywhere, not on the car or on the concrete so pretty safe in my opinion!
@@OwenLucasbut how often are you using the dye in your soap when cleaning? How often are you cleaning your car?
Kinda curious to see if I could add this into my detailing company 😂
@@PrimaDetailingwas thinking same blue for boys car's pink for girls I can imagine it will grab the ppl eye
Food coloring is safe on cars?
This was experimental, I think it is safe as long as you wash it off quickly and don’t use it on old or matte paint.
@@OwenLucas thank you for your help! And what do you think about wheels? I would like use with alkaline snow foam
Any issues with staining? I’m really wanting to try this
I didn't have any staining on the vehicle or concrete driveway but I did rinse both immediately after. It might stain your clothes, faded paint, and canvas tops though.
@@OwenLucas for sure, no issues with trim staining either?
Sir , thank you , great informations , can you please tell us the chimical name of this color ?
Food color
Where get that colours please can u answer❓
Hey Hanuman, these colors are from food coloring that was added to car wash soap. Regular food coloring you can get at the store. I bought mine on Amazon.
So it’s safe to use for detailing cars?
As long as the clearcoat is intact and the vehicle doesn't have one of those "matte" finishes. So for 99.9% of cars, yes.
What does intact mean
@@clxzzic848 That the clearcoat hasn't faded or is rough. A surface that isn't smooth, like glass could possibly absorb some of the food coloring.
@@OwenLucas oh ok thank you
@@OwenLucas you’re not going to upload anymore videos? It’s been 2 months
If spray on your clothes, does it stain ? and does it stained in your skin ?
I didn't get any of the diluted soap on my clothes or skin, but the concentrated dye, before mixing it with the soap, definitely will stain almost anything it touches/
Dose this stain the car?
It in vehicles with clear coat, which is all modern cars. I wouldn’t try it on an old faded car or one without a clear coat.
Thank you
Does this stain pavement?
It stained the concrete temporarily but I got it off with the power washer.
@@OwenLucas thank you sir, god bless.
Last 4 colour name please sir..
