Is it just me or is this kinda Donghae biased? Donghaes Footage is way more explicit and he gets more screentime. I'm concluding that either Donghae was more comfortable shooting this in front of camera or he was prepared to shoot more explicit scenes than Eunhyuk. Either way, whoever will be his girlfriend someday is quite lucky.
Oh absolutely, its not only that but during the concert its always him who gets the more intimate choreography with the female dancers especially in Take It Slow. Tbh though this kinda stuff I high key just dont wanna see anyway. I'd rather see them acting cute and wholesome or in love with their irl girlfriends/wives like Sungmin/Saeun rather shooting thotty scenes with loads of random actresses. It's that alpha male hetero vibe thats just getting a bit tedious tbh. Since Donghae is the most handsome person I've ever seen and Eunhyuk is an entertainment genius and really funny person, D&E is a perfect duo you can't avoid to fall in love with. I really love concepts like Growing Pains and Bout You 'cause it's just real and you have to go with the vibe kinda. I'm not quite sure about the following but I think since the tour of 2018, someone thought: "Imma promote them as sugar daddys in the sexiest way possible. Let's show the fans how sexy they can be." Of course I love them being sexy and all, but it's getting kinda out of hand with VCRs like that...No wonder Donghae is often reduced to his sexiness and handsome looks. You get the feeling that they wanna proof something to the fans we never requested being proofed.

But yeah I was lucky enough to manage to get to see the Style tour irl and tbh what blew me away the most was Hyukjae's homoerotic VCR and him appearing in chains and his solo Swaggerific stage. And ngl the sheer theatricality of Circus and how fun they made I Wanna Dance was the highlight for me. Take It Slow and Hot Babe just felt awkward to watch, like not that I give a shit if they dance with girls like that's great but I'd rather it not be in a way that objectifies women? Hence why I'm never complaining about Hyukjae's solo Sorry Sorry Answer stage because both male and female dancers were equally half dressed/clothed by the end of it. The She Wants It stage, objectifies the woman as objects and the men as players and colleagues. The Hot Babe stage, in both tours the women are in cages or boxes dancing sexily like in strip clubs. Objectified. The Club No. 1 if I recall was equal there but there have been great examples and bad examples and I honestly just despise the alpha male het rhetoric they keep delivering. No Other was a perfect example of romantic scenes with a female actress that is really sweet and great for all sexes. Growing Pains was. Devil wasn't. Motorcycle wasn't. No Love wasn't. I think Skeleton was to a degree, both members were nude and the female actress had hot scenes so we gotta appreciate that. Either way though it's still the boring monotonous alpha het male vibe I cba for anymore. I hope suju bin that for a more lyrically or creative storyline instead now 🥰 they did an amaZing job with Burn the Floor and good god I'm begging to see more of that 🙏🙏
I think Donghae has more experience acting and may have felt more comfortable shooting those scenes than Hyukjae, hence why there are more of his scenes. Absolutely agree with everything else said on this thread btw

Like his kdrama and film experiences have been so great, was so wonderful to see him as a lead actor in Panda and Hedgehog, the storyline was also cute as hell with an edgy twist (wouldn't have minded a bit more of the romance but it's all gucci). He's a great actor especially in The Youth, that movie was BRILLIANT. especially Donghae's acting, he really needs to be in more complex roles like that, not reduced to the typical vibe d&e keep doing in their MV's/VCR's. Like even deep tragic VCR's Ike the SS4 Storm one was just incredible, made me cry the way he was holding his girlfriend's dying body and crying. Now where's THAT level of artistry? That complexity? Not ayyy watch me get with half naked foreign girls woop~~ bruh. Come on. They're better than that :( (Also high key it's confusing when they're so into these scenes but then half the time both boys are running/shying away from girls on variety shows.
