- How to teach a rabbit:
1. Have some treats rabbits like.
2. Be patient and consistent.
3. Repeat daily (or every other day).
A blue-eyed white Polish rabbit, 8 weeks old.

@@Prashant-xl1rv Even the most well trained litter box bunny will drop poops outside the box now and then. Either by accident or deliberately to mark a spot. You might be better off with a cat.

Edit: so apparently a lot of people are still noticing this comment years later haha. This was around the time I'd gotten my bunny and I had been learning more about their behaviors and overall preparing myself. I have since gotten a second bunny (bond mate) that is in fact white with red eyes.

Maybe it did something bad they are intelligent and when you call your rabbit I think it thinks your going to yell,put him in a separate room by you. Have you every seen your house wrecked and you call your rabbit and they don't come it's because theyre scared and gulity almost like children they just pretend they didn't hear anything but they did.

My rabbit came when I called him because I had sth in my hand for him to eat....but then, when he discovered that sometimes I had nothing to give him, He observed my hands at the distance, and depending if he considered that it was important to come, he did it. If he considered that it was not, he stay where he was...( they know that things can change, a door could be open or close, etc, and they manage to get a solution to the new problem, and what is more amazing !!, they train the solutuons!!!

This reminds me of the albino rabbit I had. The rabbit was named Marshmallow and she died years ago because of old age and she lived for long passed her life expectancy. Over 10 years.

i had a bunny that knew a lot of tricks...don't think i even used food to bribe her. bunnies are smart. i used to take her to the lake and let her roam around nearby, whenever she got out of my site i would call her name and she'd come back running. people at the lake would laugh because she acted like a dog.

Buns will understand words. Keep consistent and use simple phrases like "bunny Apple", bunny nana", dinner" and then present them with the item be it apple, banana, dinner. and they will train easy. Also, be consistent with meal and snack times. Ours will sit by her dinner plate when it's dinner time.....

These babies need a ton of hay throughout the day not just at certain mealtimes like when you leave the house or go to bed you make sure they have a lot of hay

If you do so I heard comments say the poop to much how do you sleep with em then? Where do they pee or poop, is there an item for that or do they do it on their cage? @@Akhi_12345 Yep, you should let your rabbits roam around a safe area. Make sure you do not have any wires for them to chew. Rabbits are like a cat or a dog, where they can around your room/ house
If you want to sleep with your rabbit, you're gonna have to make sure it's litter trained first. Just get a tub and fill it up with some sort of bedding. You can watch videos on RUclips that will go in depth on how to litter train your rabbit. (Like how a cat poops and pees in a litter box, it's the same for a rabbit)

I have a polish rabbit, named Cosmo Kramer who is 10yrs old.had him near a year.he is the smartest& most social rabbit I have had in 22yrs.i take him to church, to schools& to the Alzheimer's ward.he will sit in a box or basket up to 3hrs!!!no poop.no pee& stays calm.he loves all the attention.think it's his breed& background.love your little guy.Cosmo is white with black on his face& body.gorgeous.2lbs 2ozs.🐇😉💙

Great way to bond with bunny as well as training to do tricks. Strengthens the bond with bunny. I know keep going on about bunny bonding but if bunny is happy being with you he/she will be happy to have a go for the treats and enjoy the time spent with him/her. Xxx
