The photographer has a marvelous eye and gives his viewers exactly what we are looking for -- a tour of Los Angeles. I was thoroughly satisfied, especially when I put it on full screen. Third dimension -- not first -- all the way, meaning it was almost like being there in the flesh. Thank you, sir, and I certainly intend to view all your work. You just give that satisfying a visual experience.

That´s really funny, because people are leaving LA because it´s too crowded, rude people, filthy, overpriced houses etc. Los Angeles isn´t all that trust me. Unless you´re not a multi millionaire you´re much better off somewhere else.
I used to be a film courier and go-fer. Lived near Sunset and Doheny around 1982. A lot of stuff has not changed. Really takes me back to see this drive and makes me remember that the fastest east west route in Hollywood is Fountain Ave. The Strip had a lot of dicey businesses in the 1950-70s. They had a different police force than the surrounding areas, LA and Bev Hills. Has always been loaded with billboards for movies and TV. Tower Records (3:01) used to have huge ones for big album drops -- GnR, U2, Van Halen, Stones. In the days before internet/phones there were 4 street walkers on every corner, 16 per intersection once you got east of La Cienega -- day and night ~1981. Spot where River Phoenix died October 31, 1993 (3:36), where the Doors performed as house band (3:41). Too many other to list. So much history in those 40 blocks. Thanks for posting. Great camera exposure and driving btw.
i used to live one block off the sunset strip. that was a fun place to live. still live near by but definitely a crazy vibe living there. NO place like LA to live. best decision i ever made moving here.

I don't think you could have picked a better time of day to film this drive. Still enough sunlight to see the architecture but after all the billboards and lights are switched on. I know its a cliche but that was a visual feast. Sensational.
