Wow, glad to see you actually did the muted A chord during the main/intro riff. Nice. Most don't hear that. This is also one of my least favorite Blink songs, but Rick Beato did a video highlighting the chorus vocal harmony that I really like, so I give it a few more points these days.
Thanks man, glad you noticed that little detail. I have not seen Beato's video about it, I'll check it out. This song definitely has all of the elements of a hit pop song. Cheers.
This is interesting. It's the way that I've wanted the mix to sound ever since I heard that synthesizer in the chorus on one of the isolated tracks. I also like that the vocal harmony is more prominent.
Glad you liked it. That's one of the positive things about using the iso tracks this way, obviously the original final mix has so many layers that a lot of parts can sometimes get lost in the mix. This way it sounds a little more raw. Cheers.
Is it a synthesizer? I hear it more now in this video. I’ve always heard but I’ve always thought it was like another guitar track playing octaves or something. Cool to know!
Hi man! Just saw your channel, pretty nice content. I know that your channel is for song on the 90 punkrock scene but... it would be nice to hear "stay together for the kids" of Blink 182... Cheers from Chile!
Thanks, Carlos. I cover everything from 90's and up so that is not an issue. Most of the songs I do cover are from the 90s because that's the era I grew up on and my favorite era of punk in general.
It used to be one of my least favourites as well, and it was the last blink song i learned on guitar because of that. But then i couldnt stop playing it. Its so simple you gotta love it haha. So much mindless fun. And i actually really enjoy all the little nuances in the mix, like the synth part or the vocal harmonies. The guitar tone is also really cool, and you did a fantastic job recreating it. Awesome cover, man. Stay safe !
I’ve seen the fingertip is supposed to touch the string above to mute it but then many times see it’s not done or done here but not there ! Very very confusing ! Is there a way to know when to or when not to mute ? Thanks !
The blend of the Friedman and Mesa really captured Tom's sound! Really fat but with crunch and presence. Not my favorite Blink song either, but a great cover!
hey bro, as always you did a perfect cover. Just to let you know, you realy inspire me, and I will finally start my cover chanel on you tube. Thank you for all! When I release my first song I'll give you a call to check it out! Keep the good work!

I mean that’s always the way I’ve done it and the way I see everybody else do it.
the tone is so good, well played
Thanks brother!
You just made me listen to this a couple times in a row now. This is just perfection. Keep it up!
Thanks man.
Blink-182 is on the horizon again to see Tom Delounge to play the vocalist and guitarist since the day I met with this guy!!!!!!! 😃

Fantastic Cover!!! Quick question: what were your amp settings to get that AMAZING Tom tone? Thanks!
Thanks. I can't recall the exact settings but I blended two amps for this cover, I mention that on the video description.
Subscribed!
Thank you.
I thought you'd do this cover with the new DeLonge'esque guitar you said you'll build.
I recorded this video two months ago before I had the parts for the modification. Maybe by the next Blink cover I'll do I'll have it ready.
classic af!!! 🎸🔥🤘👽
Yeah, definitely a classic.
Fantastic! Can you tell me where you got the backing track from?
Thank you. Guitarbackingtrack . com

When I first learned this song (first song I ever learned on guitar), the guy in the video said this song was fun to play hahahahaha
Nice, I mean it's definitely one of my least favorite Blink songs but a well put together pop punk hit nonetheless.
@@90sPunkRockCovers Same, I find it very boring to play haha
Great cover
Thanks!
Great cover! 🤘🤘 Cheers from Los Angeles!
Hmmmm maybe "Sleeper" by The Swellers next? 😏 haha
Thanks man. I'll see what I can do, I love The Swellers.
Sound Great ! Keep Rock On 🤙
