- In this quick video I am speaking about writing praise and worship songs inspired by the spirit. Allowing God to use you as a vessel to lead others into praise and worship is such a blessing, but many people feel they can not write praise songs and therefore they do not allow the Lord to use them because they are not confident in their songwriting abilities. I am explaining the process of allowing God to use you to write awesome praise and worship songs. This video is for everybody. I wrote my 2nd gospel song. With the help of God. And I honestly didn’t think I would be able to. But with God anything is possible. I wrote both of my songs in less than 24 hours.

heres some advice
true worship comes from the heart, so when we write we need to write from the heart. when we write from the heart our writing will reflect our heart and if our hearts are on Jesus then we're able to write something that is truly worship
everyone has certain things that theyre better at than others. in writing some people are better at lyrics, or melodies, or the music portion. whats great is that theyre all just as important as the others instruments change lives as much as a melody can and a melody changes lives as much as lyric can. all parts are essential to make the final product. figure out what youre good at and bring that towards the song and work on what youre not as good at. put your identity into your work
worship songs give people the words that they need, but cant think of. when we write songs for the worship that people give to God, we need to remember that not everything is always peachy in Christ. take emotions into account when writing. write sad songs, write joyful songs, write a song thats speaks of desparation or of victory. we need songs for our lives and we're not always one feeling. write with life and eternity in mind
one excercise that i like to do and find helpful is finding a verse or story in the Bible that you like and converting it into a song. the song you write may end up being a little nursery rhyme type thing or maybe it'll be an actual song that you like and wanna sing. when doing this you gain new understanding of His Word and it helps your writing abilities
also the best way to make sure youre writing songs that are true is to write lyrics from the Bible

I like the bright pink colour that you have on your lips, it is beautiful and I love your encouraging message from this video dear sister.😊 It isn't everyday that I think about writing songs, but after seeing how Christian and some singers write their own songs and had different influence on people, that caught my attention and make me wanted to write hymns songs to encourage people who struggle with all kinds of difficulties in life. It is truly amazing how people can write song after they experience tragedy. They must have set their eyes on God instead of their problems when they were writing songs and that's a great inspiration for me too! I am glad that I found your video after knowing that I have an interest in learning how to write hymns songs. @@TwelveWatts Oh wow, I have never been in a part of any ministry, but that empower me so much! I am experiencing some obstacles and have been battling mental illness for about a 10 years, sometimes it get better and sometimes it get worse. There were times something happened and I was tempted to be angry at God for some reasons, which I couldn't remember what was that for now. Maybe that was coming from past hurt and some spiritual warfares as well. Anyway, I bought myself some Christian CDs and hopefully I can get some encouragement from listening to them. For me, I wish to write hymn, encouragement for people who struggle with mental illness, bullies, self-image problems or maybe abuse of any kinds. I will refer to the bible verses as your video mentioned. I hope that I can get the chance to write a CD and put it out there someday so people can hear it and know that they are not alone. So thank you so much for your reply and please keep me in your prayer dear sister. I will talk to you later.🙏

Hi I’m shiane and I’m a Christian I need help finishing my song but I don’t play no kind of instrument to do so if you can give any tips on people who don’t play instruments and want to write a gospel song please do so cause lost I ask god to help me he hasn’t gave me an answer yet or sign yet please and thank you 😊
@helloit'sshiane God bless you. Please seek God's face for the inspiration you need, he speaks to us but his voice is small and still. You do not have to play an instrument to create. Think of your past experiences and let them inspire you to write and share your testimony/story and how God brought you through. You can start by humming a melody or writing the words and trying different melodies that match the mood of the song. God Bless you, Prayers and Blessings;-)
