As someone who does gel manicures but still loves normal polish, I LOVE how thin ILNP's formula is because it feels like it dries super fast and it's really great to use with a gel top coat. Thicker polishes tend to wrinkle under a gel top coat because i'm impatient and its harder to tell when they're dry, but ILNP's polishes are almost always great with gel!
Quick dry topcoats have been so helpful. I'm impatient too. lol My current favorite is KB Shimmer -Clearly on top.
Songbird was such a vibrant blue. It reminds me of a Bluejays. I don't really see many Bluejays, but my first thought was starry night.

100% buying these. I prefer both collections. I can't pick. It depends on my day which collection I'd pick. Yesterday it would have been the magnetics. Today it's these. I want them all. I'm like a kid in a candy store. I have no control. I want it all. I know that pathetic. But I just got more nail polish storage. I need things to fill it up!!

I tend to put my shimmer and jellies over white so they pop but these are beautiful without it and songbird is absolutely my favorite 💙

These are so pretty! I think my favorites are bluebell and melody. I also have weird dreams a lot lol - I can lucid dream but only during nightmares to escape or wake up from the bad ones 😅 for some reason it doesn’t work if I’m not scared lol!

I bought my first ILNP colors around Christmas and I loved the formula.

I Love these! Especially Flower Child, Melody and Songbird! I waited for this collection to buy spring ILNP. I do prefer the bright colors, I always have in general, but sometimes I do like the dusty ones.
I have always had very weird dreams and sometimes it’s been hard, but I would definitely prefer that over. No dreams. I do think it helps us process what’s going on with our psyche.

Bluebell reminds me of a fairy sunset. And Melody reminds me of a candy apple. Bluebell is my favorite of this set.

Definitely prefer this collection over the pastels! I loved 4 out of 6 colours, which rarely happens, but honestly would grab the full collection, it's just so good!

I absolutely love flower child & bluebell! I love the ones with holo, I wish all of the polishes had holo but they are pretty either way :) I would still love even more polishes like pixie party and fairy dust!! Maybe even a wintery version 👀

I would also get Willow, I am not usually a fan of yellow greens, but I do like that Willow get's more cool toned once you build it up 😇
I really dislike weird dreams, I usually have many like in a dystopian type of world where I always end up being chased by people wanting to kill me 🫠🫠 which is so tough, I kinda realise it is a dream at some point but I still keep running to escape 😅 so I would probably go with rather not dreaming at all 😂

I definitely have weird dreams already. In one of my most recent ones, I was at a fancy party and Celine Dion was playing piano and singing, and I got really excited and started singing along and she gave me THE DIRTIEST LOOKS. I wasn't even singing poorly, she was just mean.

My mom didn’t like it (not her style). My husband made a baby diaper comment about Elysian Fields. 🤷🏻♀️🤣 It was BEAUTIFUL to me. ♥️
I took chantix for 2 months, and it gave me such vivid dreams! It's been about 18 months, and I still have fun dreams. Not as often but just as vivid.

I wonder how similar the finish of 'Petal' is to 'Funhouse'.
Petal has a jelly base & isn't classed as an 'ultra metallic' but it gave me similar vibes.

Absolutely stunning collection, thank you for your review. I love ILNP's My Private Rainbow X--- When I do a skittles manicure putting it over all unifies the colors beautifully. I had a very vivid dream that I was Taylor Swift's BFF. I'm a nanny and the girl I care for is 8 and she's so into Taylor. She's going with VIP passes to see Taylor in Toronto. Pretty amazing!
Bluebell looks quite similar to Cirque's Hygge, which is one of my all time favourite polishes 😁

This collection is stunning! I have been meaning to pick up Pixie Party and these would be great to add to the order. Also, would you say Willow, Melody, ans Petals are the same kind of formula as Carved? I loooove Carved's formula.
Yes definitely a similar formula! Although I THINK Carved might be more packed with flakies!

I also have super weird dreams, and I always have since childhood (not lucid though). Several dreams a night and I always remember them, at least for a while after waking up. I've heard people complain about the dreams they get on melatonin and I'm like "oh that sounds normal" 😅

I loved the other collection and got two of them. These are nice too.
I feel like they got the names flipped for bluebell and songbird. Songbird is a spot on bluebell colour but bluebell is totally lacking enough blue to read as anything to do with a flower, but could be argued to look a bit more like a songbird since they tend to be brown/neutral toned with only a tiny hint of colour. I'm loving Willow and I absolutely hate how good Melody looks in swatches because I had been hoping that it would've leant more pink in person so that I had fewer polishes to add to my list! But oh well. Going to have to get those two!
I think Song Bird is my favorite in this collection. I wonder what Flower Child or Bluebell would look like over the other polishes?? I do prefer the richer shades but every once in awhile I go through a lighter phase. I don't remember mine usually unless they are really weird. I would definitely want to dream.

I would definitely prefer not to dream at all. I’ve had crazy, sometimes horrifying dreams all my life. Once around 2am I wrote down my dream. On paper it was about 3 pages long. I took it to my Dr., he read it and said, “Wow, that would make a hell of a movie.”😂
I should have kept that paper! Where do these crazy dreams come from?🤷♀️
It's so interesting to read about what scientists think of dreams - that we don't know why we have them but studies show that people who don't dream at all get worse sleep quality! So they have a purpose but why?! It's kind of wild haha
I'd love to get willow and petals to wear one on each foot on my toenails. I love doing different colours on each foot... I get to use more awesome polishes that way.

My whole life I've had the most bizarre dreams. I wouldn't want to give them up because it's super interesting lol. I also have a lot of scary dreams, but I'm used to it.

I usually get a good laugh out of my dreams. I have a Diary app on my phone and try my hardest to write them down if I can remember them. And then because it's a diary app it sends me reminders every year like "on this date one year ago you posted this" and I get a good laugh out of it again, I'm like "what the heck was I dreaming?" 95% of the time though they are about my job or about the people at work sooo that's not great I guess haha. I need to find myself a hobby...

KBShimmer does have a similar style of finish with an iridescent shimmer and a small holo flake but I do think the end result ends up looking pretty different between the two brands! I always think it's fun to see the different ways the "same" polish can be made, almost like they create it in their own signature style haha

Bluebell and Flower Child are sooo gorgeous!! I love the copper in Bluebell, so unique, and the soft vibe of Flower Child. From the other finish my favorite is Petals, but I also like Willow, especially because we are giving green nail polish a chance this year. 😅🌈
The other two are also good colors, but for me they are not spring colors. 🤔
So I like many of them on their own, but I also think it’s doesn’t really make a cohesive collection. 🫣
I know that you like vibrant colors for spring, so it makes sense that they made something for everyone. 😅

First of all, I love your top in this video. I feel like it’s somewhat rare for you to wear a pastel top, and I am digging it, and it’s very spring appropriate. Second, I like Bluebell and Flower Child best out of this collection, because I like pinks, purples and blues in this type of formula. I really like heavily shimmer-laden polishes with a lot going on, especially with things like holo bits or multichrome effects. I already have the two you mentioned from last year, so I am not sure if these are different enough to still buy. We’ll see. They are beautiful. Thirdly, I am like you, having weird dreams as the norm. Like, very random, bizarre stuff, but there’s usually some element of water because I have to pee. For example, I get to the public bathroom, but all the doors to the stalls are broken off, or there’s a rushing flood and my kids are going to get washed away in it or something. I would still keep my random, weird dreams rather than never dreaming. That would be no fun. It’s interesting and entertaining to see what my brain cooks up while I sleep. Just can’t read into it too much because I do think a lot of it really is random.

def weird dreams. I wouldn't say I have superweird dreams, but I dream often and I enjoy it, sometimes I take advice from it. From the translations or meanings from them. Sometimes they come true as well.
It's always good to have our subconscious teach us stuff about ourselves haha!
So these are pretty enough for a spring collection but, I'm disappointed there isn't a magnetic or 2, I'm really loving magnetics right now, maybe bluebell & melody might have been good as magnetics just my opinion though, flower child is a standout for me

I have either super weird dreams, which is fine but very rare, mostly they're hyper realistic and thus I feel double exhausted and old. So I high dose the vitamins T, H and C so I at least don't remember them.
I think if you don't use the first two you could do a skittles manicure and use a yellow Or Indigo hollow for the fifth color

I rather have weird dreams to be honest. I love dreaming. It's like living a second life parallel to your ordinary one. 😅
Honestly I don't think it's worth doing because it's exhausting and hard to stop lucid dreaming when you want to go back to regular dreams LOL! Sometimes I still have moments where I realize I'm dreaming and I have to struggle to wake myself up so I can fall back asleep and get good sleep hahaha
Anyone else curious as to why Petals is more expensive than the others? I understand that their multichromes and magnetics are generally more expensive but this seems to be the same formulation as Melody and Willow.
Hmm, that's odd - I didn't even notice it on their site! I wonder if it's a mistake because it does appear to be the same formula as the others!

I LOVE ILNP and jelly polish is my favorite, but …
Does anyone else have an issue with all the layers, especially with base + top, that it feels like if it never dries fully (like a cream?) No matter how long I wait between coats, it always scratches and dents within a half an hour 😢 am I doing see something wrong?
I have Morningtide, which is gorgeous, but it takes like 5 coats to show up on my nail.
That being said, I loved this collection and I am just trying to decide which ones to get … 😂
Of the two options, I would much rather have no dreams. Gimme that sweet, sweet Hypnocil.
I think I would choose to never dream because I already do not sleep well. When I have weird or bad dreams I usually wake up and immediately pray for God to remove it from me and never to have that dream again. It totally helps me go back to sleep afterwards.

I very very vivid dreams and I love them. Sometimes they can be scary but they are mostly exciting adventures and I always wake up invigorated when i have strong dreams that I can remember.
