Stop importing consumer products....least one can manufacture those items internally. Pakistan Army must reduce its budget for Pakistan to turnaround economically.

Do you think people would happily agree to pay taxes/extortion money to this type of Govt at 1st world country rates. 45% direct and then 20% to 40% Indirect taxes in utility, grocery and fuel bills. I don't think so. It's never gonna happen.
If you wanna tax us like German or Scandinavian country then Govern and facilitate the public like them too.
Sorry to say but Afghan Taliban Governance is much more better than this pathetic setup. Afghans have access to swift and free justice, law and order, freedom to conduct business, import or export whatever you want. Minimal taxes. Very small but highly effective footprint of the Govt.

This IMF program document is literally the disintegration certificate of Pakistan. Why would provinces would like to stay within Pakistan's Federation when Federal Govr would give nothing but extract every bit of resources and taxes from them. And to top it off torture, abduct and terorrize the public with state machinery.
I think KPK and Balochistan are profitable provinces on their own just due to their mineral and water resources. Don't know about sindh. Punjab has industry and agriculture but not much to support those industries independently like energy and mineral resources.

Interest on loan is of consequence only to those who intend to repay. Pakistan does not intend to repay. Ask Saudis or UAE. Pakistan never repays. Begs for “ roll over” money owed. Only China extracts the interests in terms of Pakistan territory.
