Imagine if DICE used their engine to make a WE2 game with all the theaters (Western and Eastern Front in Europe, North Africa, invasions of Poland, Italy, Greece and Norway, the Pacific Front) with all the major and a few minor factions of WW2 (US, UK, USSR, France/Free French, Poland, ANZAC Vs. Germany, Italy, Vichy French, Romania, Finland, Japan) with full on destructible environments, and NOT ruin the game with anachronistic customization and cosmetics. If they brought back naval battles and all tank or all air maps. That would be great.
Hi Ankit, Battlefield 2042 does allow you to play single player or co-op against bots. For the base game, select "All Out Warfare" in the main menu, and then click "Change Gamemode". In the top right you should see a heading called "Solo & Co-op" , which allows you to play the base game content against bots. For BF1942 content against bots it is a bit more difficult. The simple solution would to be to browse community made content under the portal menu and look for keywords like "PvE, Bots or Bot Farm" and see if the specific server is using 1942 content. The more advanced way would be to create your own custom portal experience with your own settings at portal.battlefield.com/?redirect=%252Fexperience%252Fmode%252Fgame-mode and then load that up in game. I haven't made a portal match myself, so I am not too familiar with how to do that. I hope this helps and if anyone else has some knowledge on how to make a 1942 bots match feel free to add to this thread so we can help Ankit.

The only way EA can get their community back is to simply remake Battlefield 1942, in every way. Aircraft carriers, paratrooper planes, submarines, Omaha Beach, etc., etc. Other than that, I sadly just want nothing to do with EA at this point.
it would be nice if they made vehicle combat a bit more detailed, where for example you could bounce off a shell, or maybe some unpenetrable spots in front of the tank armor, maybe some different shells like AP - good against armored stuff without explosive mass and HE - high explosive good against infantry, light vehicles ... maybe some weak spots where you could potentialy kill the tank with one shot ... also the one tank here has an open roof, imagine throwing a grenade there and whole tank blows up ... limited but usefull ammunition would be also a nice touch, i would rather to have 10 powerful shells than unlimited potatoes

For sure, the tanks feel very fast especially when you press the "shift" key for the speed boost. The Tiger feels very light for me in game as well.
