Just bought a bottle of this for my father's birthday. We both are big fans of Balvenie 12 and 14, and we really enjoyed this one too. I'm in the US so the ABV is 43%. I tried it last night, and I loved the red fruits in the development, and long finish. It was very expensive where I am though ($260), so I'm probably not going to pick another one up anytime soon. By the way, you just picked up another subscriber. Great review. Cheers!

A lucky SWG- Looks like a nice drop.
Ringing all the right bells.Never tried Balvenie yet - sounds very interesting indeed.
I have some older edradour and it slaps you around with oak.I can't enjoy it at all yet so I'll leave it for later on down the yellow brick road. But that's likely me.

The Edradour can have a quite a big cask influence - I hope it’ll be more enjoyable on a future day! ☺️🥃

Hi Swedish whisky girl ! Big fan of your cozy whisky content, keep up the good work ;).
Beside that, I have a question for you : What would be a nice swedish whisky to try ? I'm big fan of scotches and irish whiskies, but never tried a swedish one so far.

      Thank you kindly!
Good question - what style of whisky do you tend to prefer? Smoky, fruity, sweet, light, heavy? Let me know and I’ll try to recommend one or a few ☺️

@@swedishwhiskygirl I'm more interested in sweet, malty and complex whiskies 🙂. In term of scotches, I tend toward getting Highland and Speyside whiskies for example.

Maybe you’d like High Coast Älv or One of the Mackmyra seasonal releases. The Älv is one of my personal favourites - unpeated with a good complexity and sweetness but also robust . I also really like Brukswhisky from Mackmyra but that is super fruity if you ask me and maybe not so malty 🇸🇪
