I have always wondered how Tom does it. After a lot of thought I have come to the realization that Tom is simply nothing more than a thief for hire.

sometimes theres an icon that says tom bought from your shop so maybe that's it. He finds the amount of an item you look for and gives it to you so you don't need to look in the paper

I use Tom for saws. Never get saws, planks, screws & nails so it’s much cheaper to use Tom and even better if he is free for sure to get one of my rares. To bad we can’t send him for the others. Appreciate your video!
Been playing free for 7 years. The best way to use him is with boosters. Buying things that need diamonds like the bouquet and diamond rings and get my purchase of Tom reimbursed. Eg it cost 15 diamonds for a days hire, so I use him to get at least 15 diamond rings or bouquets and the rest of the time to get rare and time consuming things
I also use the Tom boosters. I usually buy saws to cut down my dead trees because I prefer only fresh trees. Before I figured that out I disliked all the dead trees all around.
You need to sell all those town and farm expansion stuff. They are practically useless to you once you've expanded everything. No need hoarding.

I bought 10 dollars worth of diamonds, and hired tom for 10 days. I set an alarm for every 2 hours that i was awake every day, and the only things i got were diamond rings, necklaces, bracelets, iron rings, as well as chocolate and lollipops (because they take so long). All of the jewelry i sold, and i kept the very few amount of candy that i got. Note that i am level 57 so I am unable to get blankets, and jellybeans

Tom is great for complicated things that are harder to make ie require a lot of ingredients or take a long time to make. Soy sauce comes to mind as do soups and sandwiches, pasta dishes and sushi. You can also use Tom to buy expensive things so you can sell for profit. This has been very skewed in recent months because diamond rings and blankets are all over the paper so the are pretty much worthless now. So it's not smart to use him for rings and blankets anymore. Everyone is selling them so yours are going to take a long time to sell and If you need them you can buy them in the paper. I also use Tom for managing saws....9 at a time when I have a lot of mess.
If you have Tom hired and also a booster try this trick. Use him and then activate the booster and he will be ready immediately.
Uuuh, I did at least something right. Cleared my entire farm at level 16 in about 2 days, wasn't sure it's the best way to use him at the beginning.

I always use tom when i need more money. Buy 9 blankets from him and then sell it. Idk where he got those 9 blankets for cheap price 🤷🏻♀️

i always use him for saws and axes and stuff so I can clear the farm.
I also use Tom for axes and stuff
At my level (62) I never need saws and rarely go under 20 saws so I usually get pickaxes from him whenever I have a mining task
We need more peanut recipes to use up all the hundreds of peanuts i have collected.
I use Tom for chocolate, jams, jelly beans,top hats, candles and cheese.
It used to be 90 diamonds for 10 days. When did it go up? Lately I have been having him get me saws!!!
Is the thing of diamonds in the mine worth? And I ask if the shovel works as well(for taking diamonds from the mine)?

@@Lukas_Do it’s just a way to help remember when Toms time is up. I thought I didn’t need it but I tried it anyway and it did help. When you use Tom plant an indigo, maybe in a special place where it’s easy to see. When it turns blue that’s your reminder that Tom is done napping.
This really helped me in Hay Day but also I need more diamonds because now I have a few and I need more also Im looking forward to unlock of where you can decorate your truck
I tried to build Tom a home. And put things in my shop that I think he might need. LOL

Coins is my struggle, I'm currently on level 86 almost 87, with 690K coins, Tom mainly gets me the items I don't have machines to make because I can't afford them yet, like a Donut Shop and Soap Shop, I've never traded items and not even sure if I'm in a neighborhood. I can help some farms, but often I try and get a message that says join a neighborhood to help out.
Can you use 2 Tom boosters at the same time? (I don't mean the same one, but I mean to hire him for free and then use a minus % nap time booster for Tom) Is this possible?
Hi, yes it's possible! It's the best combination of boosters!
When you've hired Rose and you get points in the valley for feeding a certain animal, does it count when Rose feeds them. Did that make sense?

I have never hired Tom for more than 5 days so if i get it right...if u hire him for 10 days u can get discount and unlimited stuff or what? Im confused on that point lol

Do not clean up your farm. The trees rocks are beautiful I use them to make my farm look more natural. If you cut it down you have to buy other trees etc. so plan your farm and you can cut down what trees you need when you need space.

Yes, if you recently unlocked him! Use him for Saws/axes to clear up trees on your farm.
After that you'll have to spend diamonds to hire him.
