I’m so glad I stumbled upon y’all!! We are booked for The Fantasy in January ‘24 after our youngest daughter graduates from college. It’s been a few years-probably 2012-13 when Hurricane Sandy hit. The kids and their dad said they had a bumpy night at sea as they left Nassau early trying to beat the storm. We can’t wait to vacation and cruise again!!
I can't wait to enjoy Palo again! I think the way you paced your meal is the way to go. Nice to see the girls enjoying their time on the ship too! My 12 year old didn't enjoy the kids clubs on his last cruise at age 7 and I hope he gives Edge a try on our next one. Hopefully he can connect with some kids through our cruise group beforehand.
Next cruise we’ll do Palo dinner 👍 We loved seeing video from Lyndsey and her day too! We hope your your son enjoys Edge on your next cruise! Always appreciate you guys and encouragement!
I love the dynamic with you guys whether has a party of four, two or one on the cruise. love it! I think the magic of cruising any cruise line is that the guest experience will not always be the same with all staffing/contract starting and ending and the dynamic changes hence why food can vary from cruise to cruise. Im excited to see the zip line experience “tomorrow”. T minus 6 days for Tortola!
It’s fun to see what it’s like to go when the kids are a little older. Our boys are 11 and eight years old. It looks like fun how independent they can be in a few years.
I've been trying to research cruises for my family to potentially go on. I've been binge watching your vlogs and I have to say it looks like a lot of fun! Great content and amazing editing!! Thank you. 👍
Having brunch at Palo is on our Disney cruise "bucket list" for sure. We didn't realize the Chicken Parm was served on a bed of risotto. Now we DEFINITELY have to order that when we go. Great vlog!
Thanks! That risotto is a good filler and it’s pretty amazing. Pretty much everything we had was incredible. We’re excited to try Palo dinner On our next Disney cruise 👍
I have gone on 7 Disney cruises and have never gone to Palo (or Remy) but I gotta say, that gorgonzola and grape pizza might be the thing that makes me book it next time. YUM! We are going back on the Wonder this November and have the Mixology booked. Our family loves to split off and have individual adventures as well. Such a great vlog!
We had heard about it during our first Disney cruise from some friends, so we really wanted to try it. We really enjoyed it, and I can’t member if I said this in the vlog, but it’s not on the menu. It’s used to be on the menu but now it’s a secret menu item, so you will need to ask your server to see if they can make it for you! We hope you have an amazing time on the Wonder!!
@@AdventuresinMillerland The little things make a big difference. The voice over, starting the next talking clip while the other silent clip is still playing... Awesome work! Great editing 👍
Love this series so much already! As a vegetarian who watches A LOT of Disney cruise videos, and is doing this same Fantasy itinerary very soon, I very much appreciate the TOFU! Woo hoo!!! Thank you!
Haha! That’s awesome. We make a little bit of fun of Carrie’s enjoyment of tofu (she used to be a vegetarian). She did enjoy it and it’s great that they have options for many diets! She has an uphill battle to convince us to like it too 😂
hi there! we are going on the fantasy in about a week! i was wondering how your daughter was chatting with her friends while on the cruise? does the app provide a group chat for friends, or is it a different platform?
Yes! The Navigator app has a chat feature. Everyone has a code number in their app they can give to anyone they want to chat with. It only works on the ship.
Does Palo always take that long? I am nervous to commit that long for brunch not knowing if my son will like the kids clubs or how long he will last in the club.
No we just really like taking our time at Palo! You can easily be there for 90 minutes and have a really great experience! But we take our time ordering and we order a lot, share and sample a lot. Everyone does Palo a little bit differently 👍😄
@@AdventuresinMillerland Wow, thanks for actually answering! Usually when you ask something on RUclips, you just have to hope at some time you’ll hear back lol. I asked because I know the restaurants are pricey, and you pay extra for the food you get there. I also heard that the little in stateroom “fridge” is more like a cooler than an actual fridge, so it might not be possible if it’s something that needs to be kept cold. I just started looking into a Disney cruise estimating probably sometime within the next 5 years. For my son and I, it’s very likely to be a once in a lifetime thing. I was last at Disney World when I was about 8, and unfortunately don’t have much recollection of it at all. So, I’ve always wanted to go back, but also always wanted to take a cruise to the Caribbean, so this is a great combination, and very likely a lot cheaper than 7 days in a Disney Resort. I had decided on the Fantasy, so I looked up videos for it, and found you guys. As others have said, your vlogging style is much easier to watch, and you show the things we are actually curious about. I was also wondering, do you have to do anything special for the Fish Extenders? I’m not sure if you just hang it on your door and others in your hall just know what it is. I also saw on your video that you guys got a good amount of goodies, and the name and room number of the sender was on the back or a tag. Were you guys able to gift anything back to them? Is it considered rude if you don’t gift back? And did you get a wifi package for your room? Thanks so much for reading this, I know it was long. I’m just excited dreaming about my future trip.
That’s really exciting that you are planning this for you and your son! If you go to either Palo or Remy, just enjoy the food you get while you are there, there is so much included food on the cruise that you don’t have to pay extra for, no need to bring anything back. Regarding fish extenders, we made a video (it’s a few videos before we left for the Fantasy cruise) about them, and how they work. You should check that out - I believe all your questions would be answered on that one. For WiFi, we like disconnecting on a cruise so we don’t usually get the internet package. They do have much better WiFi options than they used to offer, 3 speed tiers that you pay a daily or whole cruise rate for, all are unlimited data. If you do a little searching on Google, you should gin all the info you need! Have fun planning!
The great thing is, it’s optional, so you don’t need to do it if you don’t prefer that. The main dining rooms are fine, and you can totally get by with that. Imagine going out to a really nice Italian restaurant and having a really great meal, sample all of the amazing options on the menu, enjoy absolutely amazing service with an incredible view of the ocean. You’re not gonna get that anywhere else but on a cruise ship for $45 a person. Palo brunch is for sure worth it for us 😊
@@AdventuresinMillerland thanks for replying, I think because I'm just planning for the first cruise that just the meals that come with the cruise seem so fantastic, but I can understand wanting to add in a little extra too
@@stephaniemcclure2410 we totally felt the same way for our first cruise as well! We didn’t want to miss any of the main dining restaurants for dinner. But because Palo Brunch doesn’t interfere with the dinners, we wanted to give it a try and we’re so glad we did!
Loved talking to Stitch through the window - so cute!!!
Ha!! We had Lazar as our server!! We love him and keep requesting him 😊

Yup!! Why weren’t you there to give us the answer 😂🤣 So excited for the viewer cruise 😊
Love your videos enjoy
So glad you did the wine tasting! Loveeeee Rue La La!!!! It is so fun! Girls day there someday haha
I’ll let Carrie respond to that one! 😂 👍 Wait… way couldn’t Bryson and I have a dudes day sipping champagne?!
Girls day sounds fantastic! Chris and Bryson can go get pedicures while we sip champagne 😂
So glad I came upon your vlog. I love hearing about your trip, and appreciate all the details and tips you give us. Thank you so much!
Awww of course! That’s super kind of you to say that 😊 So glad you are enjoying it! Thx for saying hi!

If the riddle is only on the ship then it would be the elevator. Or it could be your eyes lol I dont maybe. Good video!

Another great video! We’ve decided to book this itinerary for August 2023. Even more excited to see the rest of the videos in the series now. 😀
That’s so great!! Super excited for you guys 😄
Love the Videos! I laughed a bit when I saw myself in the lunch vlog Lyndsey took and can’t wait to see more of the blogs she took with us.
Thanks! So glad Lyndsey got to meet you and so many others she had a great time hanging out with!
Thanks for sharing your day with us! It looked amazing!

Love the vlogs!! Thank you for taking the time to share them. I missed the answers to the trivia at dinner? Will you share them?!?
Any guesses?!
I wish i had the kind of mind that figures out those riddles!
Stairs for the first riddle and map for the second riddle 😊

Is "The Sun" the answer to the riddle?
The answer was stairs (best we can remember)!

I don’t believe so. We honestly did not want to because we were full.
