Amy, your home always looks comfortable and warm. In regard to the mirror, the scratch is so small that I wouldn’t worry about it. In the closing segment while you were standing in front of the mirror I paused the video and zoomed in to see if I could see the scratch and I wasn’t able to see it. Great video!!!

Hi little girl. I thought I sent this comment earlier but I was in the middle of doing it when Rachel came in and I stopped I guess. She came to put clean sheets on my bed and take the trash out and lift some heavy things. I’ve had some real severe pain with the injury to my intercostal muscle. It’s getting better now but it’s been about A month of lots of pain. Anyway I loved everything you did today I especially like the table that had the picture above it. I think your carpet cleaner really work good. I’ve really been missing doing house work. Believe it or not I’m somebody that loves housework and cooking. Hope your family is all doing well. You are a sweetheart. Love in Christ

Hi sweet Donna!! So sorry to hear that you're dealing with pain. I pray for a quick healing and recovery!!! I know you enjoy these things. It's hard sometimes to just be still and wait while our bodies are on the mend. I'm glad you have family to help you until you're 100% back to yourself. I also pray that everyone has recovered from Covid too!!!
PS We are planning a cruise, leaving from Galveston, TX in May. We've never visited TX so I'm so excited. That's still several hrs from you though, right??

@@SimplyRHome yes I live about an hour from Galveston. I hope you have a little time to look around Galveston it’s kind of a neat place. An atmosphere all of its own. Actually we usually go around Mother’s Day and rent a condo on the seawall and stay. Don’t know if we’ll do that this year since we have all had so much trouble and I’m not even had Christmas yet. Ha ha. Also Rebecca and Her husband go every December After Christmas and spend a few days down on the Strand at the Tremont Hotel. That’s back by the docks where you will be getting on your ship. BTW, I wanted to tell you that intense pain that I have had for almost 4 weeks is gone. Hallelujah

@@SimplyRHome The Tremont Isa good hotel and is back there by the docks where you will catch a ship. There are hotels on the seawall but that’s on the other side of the island by the Gulf of Mexico. It’s really not that far but you may be happier at the Tremont. You can look online and see if you come up with something you might like better.

Amy I’ve been doing the same thing to my wood floors. I still have our living room,dining room and master bedroom to go. I’ve been doing major cleaning room by room. I love the gold mirror and green lamp! I’ve never used monkey hooks but may try sometime. I’ve used the drywall screws usually but that also has the downside of leaving big holes. Your hall table decor looks beautiful too!

Very pretty and inviting. We have an antique vanity in our spare bedroom. Because old it had many blemishes or spots in the mirror. We were going to just replace mirror at glass store. They suggested taking it to have it resilvered which we did, so I would think you could possibly have those areas fixed. I will say having a new mirror versus resilvering was not much difference in cost, but a new mirror would have been a lot of different cuts and curves. That was what made it costly. At any rate it allowed us to keep the original mirror for the piece and make the mirror functional again.

Thanks for letting us know about the hooks and the mirror. It is a shame the hooks make those marks because the hooks are so great to use.
Great video! I really liked how this shows taking small spaces/jobs in bite size pieces sure can make a big difference. We don't have to clean all of our spaces/floors/carpet at once. BTW I have the upright Bissell Pet carpet cleaner. LOVE IT! ❤ I will check out this Hoover for cleaning jobs requiring attachments like stairs and furniture. As always LOVE, LOVE the decor!

Hi Amy. I had the same thing happen to me with a mirror. My husband took it to an auto shop. They had some type of paint that they put on the back. Worked well. Have had the mirror now for over 30 years and still going strong. Hope this helps. Love your decorating ideas!!!

Hi Amy. I watch you all the time, but this is the first time you cost me a lot of money. Haha. I have been in need of finding cleaning supplies for my hard wood floor as well as a couple area rugs.It's always so confusing. Since I know how important keeping your home clean is to you I trust that the products you test and use so far have pointed me in the right direction.
