fun fact: a few years ago, after a crash, Metrolink had to lease BNSF locomotives to be placed infront of the Rotem CabCars. Something in the CabCars failed during the crash and the BNSF locomotives were to be on every train.
It was an accident involving a flatbed truck in Oxnard, CA in late 2016. A Metrolink Cabcar collided with the truck that was stuck on the tracks and derailed. Sadly the accident took the life of Engineer Martin Steele. After the accident a fault was discovered within the Cab’s plow in which if something were to wedge itself under the plow, it would go under the wheels and derail the consist. As a result it was mandatory that all Cabs were not allowed to lead any train and as a result, Metrolink leased a handful of BNSF Dash 9s to lead the reverse consists of ALL Metrolink trains for several years until the plows could be rebuilt and fixed. The last one of BNSF’s Dash 9s left around mid to late 2018 after almost 2 years. There hasn’t been a fatal accident since then involving the Rotem CabCars.
hey bro, Thank you for your support, So you need to have the "Cajon Pass" Addon where you get BSNF ES44C4 loco, or buy the US expansion, where you get this loco along with other EMD's & GE's Loco.
The moment you pass the red signal, Pause the game and save it, As you are redirected to the main screen, You get the option to replay that same scenario, you click on it and you'll notice that you have passed that signal and now you can run all the red signals.
I don't, it's an Amazing attention to detail IN GAME, when ever a train is crossing, the bells and crossing automatically starts working and closes by itself and opens after train passes by.
Bro how do i drive amtrak coaches with bnsf es44c4 as the ER is only rising upto 90 (for freight) whereas it needs to be 110 for passenger rakes pls help!!
Hey bro 1st of all thank you so much for your support it means alot. So Amtrak bi level coach which sits behind, needs to be changed in terms of brakes, change its brake to cutout and put the key in. Then you will be able to push it upto 125 that's the locos max speed in the game. If it's not working for you, I will make a dedicated video for it soon.
