- Here's a lesson on the guitar parts of Joh & George for "I'm A Loser." A really great song off of the 'Beatles For Sale' album.

Mr. Sixth Beatle you are mate! Great job on one of my all time favorite songs! Always love the sound alike! ✌🏻❤️ from Cleveland, Ohio!
Mike, while your guitar playing is outrageously great, as always, but your vocals are also tremendous. Singing BOTH John and Paul's parts requires a vocal range which isn't easy by any means. Great work.
Wow, thank you!
@@MPfrance Mike you are wonderful and your youtubes are a treasure!
I love how the word “Looser” isn’t used in the regular sense of “Not being Successful” and more used in the literal sense of actually “Loosing someone/Love” I love songs that seem so common but have a twist and different spin on it .. that make it deeper than you actually think..❤
Deeper would be knowing how to spell "loser".
Please learn to spell 'lose' and all of its permutations.
Have always loved the country-folksie vibe off this album!
I think that the “Beatles For Sale” album is so underrated… you listen to it randomly and think …”Dam this is such a great album .. I should listen to it more often” 😂
No reply is the bomb
Another terrific lesson & rendition of a classic Lennon tune Mike! You are the best & thanks for keeping the Beatles music alive & well! 👍👍👏👏
Love You Michael
Love that Mike's Macca has a mini Martha on the sofa.
There was a strong appreciation of C&W in Liverpool - and a good following for Chet Atkins bridging to Carl Perkins so this is a particularly interesting breakdown - great job !
Thanks Mike. One of my favorites. Very underated Beatles song. Loved the lesson'
What an extraordinary sound alike
You've got a beautiful tone on the George parts - perfect!
Another great lesson. All I want to do these days is play guitar, learning from your lessons the songs I know so well from my youth. It seems everything else I have to do is just an interruption until I can get back to it. Btw, I used to have Yorkie (mix) too. ❤
Astounding!!
Indeed Mr.Mike Pachelli does gorgeous work on all these fine Beatles songs ....! (Happily said by many ....!)
Wow! I totally appreciate you! I I love the Beatles and thank you for sharing your knowledge!
Excellent work MIke ' I've always loved how this song chops in with the Gretsch and harmonica around the walking bass, love your rendition, it's so close' thanks for sharing.
There is no doubt you are the best teacher of Beatles music hands down. Spent the last hour learning the rythim part got it nailed down pretty good.
Now off to the lead part. Thanks again Mike.
Hey Mike, another brilliant lesson and sound-alike! The lessons and charts & tabs have me actually learning and playing some of these fantastic, classic Beatles tunes now! Thanks so much!
Great to hear!
I love how the songwriter tells the listener “and so it’s true pride comes before a fall. I’m telling you so that you don’t loose all” “I wrote this song as a lesson learned and maybe you might not have to go through the pain I’ve gone through” ❤
Lose (verb), not loose (adjective).
Great lesson as always Mike! No wonder I never could figure it out 59 years ago when I was 13!
Glad to help!
Great! Tanks!!!
Another great job, Mike. What talent!
Brilliant.
A hard DAYS NIGHT TO REVOLVER is a series on incredible albums that changed the world.
Beatles for sale was recorded when Beatlemania peaked so hardly time to write new songs despite appeared No reply, I m a Loser babys in Black and Eight days a week and Every little thing ..... First class songs with gorgeous singing ....from John and Paul as said underrated album
However a bunch of fans (like meself ) do value Beatles for sale highly
Beatles For Sale is the most underrated Beatles album.
Amazing as always. Thank you Mike!
Thank you Mike, great lesson as usual❤️, greetings from🇵🇱🇵🇱
A simple song but as usual - a classic Beatle number and a great rendition Mike
Thanks for this Mike. Having lived through it all and learnt them as they appeared you put in all the bits we couldn't work out 😊. Good job!👍🏼
As a kid the Lads made me a Power Pop fanatic, sitting on the step at my grandparents house in East Liverpool this song popped up on Wednesday, 7 October 1964 on ABC, it struck me, how could Lennon who went to the Toppermost of the Poppermost be a loser ? ! Not being a Country fan as a kid somehow I dug it, George's Perkinesk playing was kool ! As always, great job breakin' the details down Mike.
Hey Mike! Another great tutorial from you!! Thank you!! I've been subscribed to your channel for years now but, as of today, my wife subscribed to your channel too (she saw your Yorkie at the intro of the video😊)!
Hello Mike, another Fab one you nail just superb .... 🎉
Thanks Mike! Your Gibson sounds so good. Still waiting for Bad Boy!
Thanks and "Bad Boy" is on deck!
My favorite!… or, one of them anyway! I love performing it on guitar vocal and harmonica!
You make learning guitar fun. Not a lot of preachy talking about music theory, instead you get to the point. Learning the history about each song is a lesson in itself. What happens when you run out of songs in the Beatles catalogue?
Django! Check it out
Hey Mike... 😊 👍...! -70SomethingGuy
All in respect, George's guitar solo is a Chet Atkins technique, alternating bass and middle string with a flat pick. Atkins does it with a thum pick. George uses a flat lick like Carl Perkins did.
Utter perfection Mike what a treat so soon after your Across the Universe video!!
I just love your Beatles breakdown vids. I would be curious to learn more about your musical background.
Thanks Mike. Another super picking apart of this great Beatle song. Instruments to one side, I have to say on the record, the opening harmony of Lennon McCartney just makes my ears sparkle. By the way, congratulations, for playing the Hofner bass left-handed. or was it just a visual horizontal flip? Keep up the great work.
I think that was one of Mike's best sound-alikes although he always does a great job.
Nice job Mike! One of my favorites.
How about “If I Fell” next? John does some great chord work in that.
You're a great teacher.
Amazing Mike 👍
Hey Mike, could you do While my guitar gently weeps, I would really appreciate it
Another great lesson and analysis!
Brilliant Mike!
Great job as always. But this is the first time I noticed your little doggy! A Yorkie? So comfortable in the corner of the sofa. I love it❤️
Funny I thought kind of the same as John 😂 when I first heard this song … I felt like the Looser and clown lyrics were kind of lame/dumb .. but when you listen to it after you’ve lost someone you care a lot for .. the feelings fit and hit you kind of hard 😂 “ I’m a looser and I’ve lost someone who’s near to me. I’m a looser and I’m not what I appear to be” “ although I laugh and I act like a clown , beneath this mask I am wearing a frown. My tears are falling like rain from the sky. Is it for her or myself that I cry?” Such a great song ❤
Amazing lesson and superb sound alike with your great vocal range...love the dog (Silky?) on the sofa.
Nailed it as always thanks brilliant..
Not too sure if you’ve done it Mike,Hey Bulldog has to be coming soon, that’d be amazing.
Sounds great Mike
great job! thank you
Nice job Mike.

Hey Mike, have you ever considered doing any solo career songs? I absolutely love your breakdowns and they are the most accurate I have found. I'd love to hear your take on Bluebird or The Kiss Of Venus
I'm still concentrating on Beatles' songs.
p.s. Please subscribe to my channel. It helps me out. Thanks!
I’m happy just to dance with you would be bomb
mike how about doing a lesson on world without love
✌️😊👍
Mike can you do a lesson on " If I needed Someone"
Thought that initial couple of strums sounded exactly like they were going to break out into Johnny Cash’s “hurt”
Apart from your outstanding teaching and service you provide to your Beatles-loving audience, I noticed your striped shirt while playing John’s acoustic part. Was that purposeful? Many photos in late 1964 into 1965 depict Lennon wearing his noticeable striped shirt and sunglasses. Cool move on your part!
Hi Brad - I shoot the various parts of my sound-alike on separate days. It takes me THAT long to perfect. I usually wear what ever I have on that particular day. ESPECIALLY if I'm playing a part (and not just singing).
@@MPfrance Hi Mike! Thanks for taking time to clarify for me. It seemed like a subtle move on your part, and further exemplified your “Beatles DNA”. Lol! Thanks again for your outstanding work in creating these wonderful tutorials. It’s an honor for me to watch and learn from you. Keep well!
Did the sunglasses come with the harmonica?
😂😂😂
Could you upload a video teaching how to play if i fell please 😭
will you make a "i will" tutorial?
Country folksy "".... and with Carl Perkins covers Honey Don't and everybody is trying to be my baby rockabilly ish as well ....
Is it a Harmonica or a Harp you're playing? Thx for the lesson!
Tomāto - tomato. They are one and the same.
Hey Mike! Thank you so much for this video! Can you tell me what kind, size and brand strings do you use on the Gretsch?
I don't use any special type of strings. I don't find much difference what-so-ever in one brand or another. So I usually buy whatever is least expensive. And please know that MOST tone comes from somebody's hands.
Lennon is such an eclectic composer. What a groove he was. These song breakdowns make me appreciate him and sorely miss him. At times I smile and weep simultaneously.
Great job, Mike!
Kenneth Allsop looks like Ed McMahon.
cmon mike give paul songs some love
From West Java Indonesia..always waiting your Beatles song lesson.. thank you Mike
Every time I hear this, I think of The Mosquitoes singing "He's A Loser". Bingo,Bango, Bongo and Irving.
John and George were very thorough guitar players. The little nuances they add are so cool.
Great lesson.
Love this song. I have been trying to learn this for months. Thanks Mike
Im waiting for this!
Hey Mike, at 4:31, on the record it sounds like John goes from an Am to Fmaj7 instead of a regular F.
How can there be a "4:31" on a song that is less than 2:30 ??
@@MPfrance 4:31 on your video, sorry!
Snip - Sorry but your ears are deceiving you. You can CLEARLY hear the hi F note on the 1st string of John's acoustic guitar at the part you mention.
Thanks for the clarification Mike! Sorry for my first comment not being clear enough 😅
Thanks from Italy, Mike (also for the "a piacere" intro!).😊
Absolute,y fantastic Mike thank you
