You're absolutely correct about having the right size deck to match the job. For me, a 48" is the do-it-all size. I also use a 21", but really want a 32" or 36" to add to the fleet. For the record, a 61" would be useless to me due to the uneven terrain. You wouldn't believe how many crews run them, but leave yards looking like a hack job.
yea I would never go with 60 ...I used to think 52 was the best size ...but I think a 48 is the perfect size
Just bought the XL 42 today. Your grass is much nicer than mine so I don't think I'll have any problems.
I have a Raptor SD 54'' and it's awesome. I got the last one with the Kawi on it from my dealer. Your vids helped me decide on Hustler and it was the best lawn equipment I've ever owned. Cuts anything in front of it! I was somewhat heart broken over you getting the BC but once you have a Kawasaki, it's hard to buy anything else. Thanks for the Vid!
thats awesome buddy ...yea probaly made more sense for me to get the sd ...being that i have bagging system already ...and the kohler has been holding up well and love experimenting with new engines ...but for now ihave the bob cat ...who knows ...things always change
I threw my belt yesterday bro in some tall wet grass for the first time. Had a small smashed up piece of wood in the pulley that made it go off track. I got it back on in like 2 min right there on the spot, easy. Great video brother! Going threw that tall stuff like nothing!

that 42 inch sure is a nice machine. and that is alot of grass to mow with a push mower. here in vegas we have small lawns. some large but not too many. great job bud

Looks like it did a good job on that long grass. We,ve done several lawns that were SHOULDER high! Not a lot of fun doing that.

Great video as always! I'm on the fence right now looking at either the the new bobcat crz with 42 inch deck or the hustler raptor 42, mowing just shy of two acres. Of the two, which would you honestly recommend? I appreciate your advice and feedback.
Crz a bit better mower ...But 1100$ more money ...For a home owner both would work fine ...But you'd get done quicker the bobcat

Why do you guys recut the grass? I mean going back and forth and recutting the cut grass
Bajaheat when grass is this high .. clippings are everywhere...you need to keep cutting and dispersing the clippings are you will have clumps of grass that could hurt or kill the grass

Adapt your properties to your mower... I can do all my lawns with a 60 inch and a 30. $500 a week. A day and a half of mowing

AWESOME....for my fall clean ups ...can't wait to use this fall ....the 30 inch TimeMaster was a deal I couldn't pass up ...and so happy I have it ...live the cut and great for fall clean ups also
