    4:20 regular (a X and 1/a X with use of natural log) (appears in case denominator is larger and numerator is not) , 6:05 regular ln (in case numerator does have exponent because that variable with exponent can't be denominator the second the denominator) , 7:06 separation individually (appears in case numerator is larger and denominator is not) , 9:33 factoring , 10:35 long division, u is perhaps larger one (when applying log keep in account what is give in numerator is the derivative of denominator)

    7 Years later and this was soo helpful .I don't know if it is supposed to be that easy or it's just that my brain started functioning. But one thing for sure is that my lecturer like complicating thigs a lot.

    16hrs until my exam haha, i also didnt know how i climbed up in integral calculus without knowing long division hahaha btw thanks for teaching us long division u really saved me from failing, i also gotta learn this within 16hrs (including my sleep lol) anyway thanks a lot!

    17:37 the solution of the last example is incorrect. I used U - substitution and got correct answer. U can check it with symbolab.

    9:11 u sub and natural log differentiation (here natural log already in the numerator as whole power unlike in denominator as whole power).

      I know this is a super late response but in case anyone else sees. If you look at the example prior, you were technically already dividing by the derivative, the derivative just happens to be 1. That's why he showed u-substitution when the constant pulled out was 1.

      Syntax Logic yes, differentiation is multiplication and integration is divide polar opposites

    One tip for the second to the last question: you can actually use partial integration of fractions.

    13:59 -3x squared -3x squared = -6xsquared

      You have to distribute the negative sign. So, the -3x squared on the bottom becomes a positive 3x squared. Just like the positive x^3 became negative right before it.

    At 13:06 you made the problem way more complicated than it needed to be. The only thing you needed to do it take x^2 from (x^3-3x^2) to get:
    (x^2(x-3)+5)/(x-3) = x^2 + 5/(x-3).

      Integrating 1/x will be ln|x| no need to derive the x as changing it to be within ln is the integration and du held the derivative of u

      u=x^2-3. Differentiate it, du/dx = 2x or du = 2xdx
      Then xdx = du/2

    This channel plus Khan Academy almost makes me feel like Calculus isn't really that hard at all, we've just got a school system that has been teaching it to us completely, 100% wrong. I looked over the notes I took of this subject in class and all I can think is, "Why did my professor make this so damn complicated??"
