I’ve never met Brad myself but I have met one of his family members or “proclaimed” family members. But it was sad because the supposed family member for the most part was homeless and somehow made his way all the way to my hometown and he was literally living with anyone who’d let him stay there. But the dude was messed up he was on drugs and kept getting kicked out of every house he lived in because he was stealing from everyone he lived with. It broke my heat one day because I was at these people house mutual friends of hours and he had gotten kicked out and all he had was a plastic bag of possessions like that’s literally all he had to his name. But this was years ago and I couldn’t let him stay with me I didn’t even have my own place I was staying with my grandparents at the time. And that’s honestly the last time I seen him I prayed to god that he’s still alive with the way he was living.
