SECRET LIFE OF THE ROBIN -- Erithacus rubecula

A close look at the changing lifestyle of the robin, from late summer to early spring, as it changes from a solitary hostile bird defending its isolated territory to a sharing companion as it pairs up ready for the breeding season. The film shows a two minute clip of the moment that the female robin enters the male's territory and his initial reluctance to accept her presence. I was lucky enough to watch this at close quarters as they completely ignored me and the camera.
