One of his executions better be him taking those swords off his back and killing his opponent with them.
There isn’t one, unfortunately. which feels like the most blatantly missed opportunity
I think there should be like 1-2 for each weapon he has

If you ever saw them nerfing Hitokiri’s 4th feat, then you might see them nerf this one.
Yeah I mean, every new hero get it somehow, but here it's so obvious I can't believe they genuinely thought the community would be fine with that.
I give it 2 month tho, because they want us to grind, and they need to find the right balance in increasing sohoi normal chain damage vs his special finisher.
Also I predict that this finisher will be dealing 50 damage because that's the biggest healthswing we have cirrently with shaman (reduce by the removal of bleeding, but easier to achieve)
In duels i don't see the character being an issue, cause remember; his attacks actually have to land. Then by the time they do all land chances are you're already close to dead regardless. But for team modes, that is where i can see the souls getting stacked constantly. Especially in group fights. Curious to find out if external hits will register for soul gain hits

@randomnobody2194 yeah. Guess we'll find out, but if the souls only register on lock on targets, then unless someone is very good at target switching and opponents are actually letting the hits land, then the character really shouldn't be an issue. Especially with lower base damage.
What about gb? Just two of those and he has all souls

Finally. An actual unique character that even comes with a unique gimmick. It wasn't clear though, can I not follow up my light openers with heavy finishers and vice versa?
You can only chain lights with lights and heavies with heavies
Or you can chain both to a zone attack
@@jacksonville9642that sounds quite difficult to get your soul charge all the way up, especially for the last one if the person your fighting is paying attention
@@Zach_Zorn He also has dodge heavy’s and dodge lights to make things easier. But other than that, your gb is gonna be your best friend with sohei

Eh, only being able to use the same attack twice seems clunky, removes a lot of mixups, also a 149 dmg insta kill is ungodly

I have only one question how much damage is the commander going to take in breach with the soul stab move if it can land?
About 75% of what hitokiri 4th feat does. Hitokiri 4th feat is a flat 200 damage and sohei soul stab is max 149 damage. Real question is if guardian buff stacks with his passive buff.

If u cant win against them join them
He's not gonna be hard to beat, watch out for GB'S and parry/deflect depending on who you're using and try not to let him get many parries himself
@@Katray... The real issue will be 4s. He can have his 6 souls from killing a bot, then just go one shot the next guy. Just think his anti gank ability. In revenge there's no way you don't get souls. Then after you get a 1 bash kill, u can use tier 4 and get another 1 bash kill. Anti ganks gonna be broke af
@@Katray... He has unblockables from all sides and a soft feintable zone. You're gonna get gb'ed alot and it's going to cut fights extremely short

My biggest question with his 95dmg atk, can he farm midlane for the 7 weapon souls? Would then make it a million times easier to get it

Just 2 guardbreaks and a bash too do over 100 damage. Thats not broken
@@carsonhorton9827objectively wrong, 2 guardbreaks give you all 6 souls
Guardbreak into light gives you all 3 light souls and guardbreak into heavy gives you all 3 heavy souls
@carsonhorton9827 GB can be a zone or triple light, or triple heavy input. Triple light and triple heavy give you 3 souls each, so yes, 2 GBs will give him all souls
The tradeoff seems to be that the triple attacks do very tiny damage, so it'll be hard for him to be fighting one person and kill them without using the bash, so he won't be able to just save it and run across the map to one-shot someone else very easily
@@MrScrake GB into zone does 24, GB into souls does only 9 damage
@jacksonville9642 yeah that's what I'm saying. So he has to choose whether to kill an enemy he's fighting more quickly to avoid getting out-damaged, or build up his souls to use his bash on someone else. The latter being probably a lot less viable
@@MrScrake building your souls up will still be the far better option since once you have all 6 of them your opponent knows he'll die at the first parry he eats, gives you a lot of leverage and control over the flow of the battle

Do they not realize this character replaces a couple heroes of the weapons he has? Like instant hyper armor with unblockable? Instantly makes him better than old heroes and now they’re gonna have to tune the whole roster again🙄

Biggest mistake for honor has made is giving a character basically a feat for his main move that instantly kills.
So TWO GBs and you get Six souls, then with your FIRST feat that recharges every MINUTE you get an instant kill. Wow, brilliant design 👏👏👏. Oh wait sorry and his third feat passively increases it to 119. W.T.F. I love how unique he is, this is honestly the coolest character ever, but bro.
Yeah but with how strong his GB’s are you’re not gonna let him get those off. It’s like playing near a ledge, you’re not gonna parry nearly as often because you can get insta killed with any GB.
U had to be braindead if you let those GB connect with all of those slow ass basic attacks.

day 220 of asking if you could play highlander please.
This game is so damn badass its insane. But when i bought it and played it was way to difficult..i started off in the story first and i was pretty damn good. or so i thought. I could barely get 1 or 2 hits in in a casual queue match and after like literally 50 tries of me believing that i could learn how to play this game i gave up. I like watching it tho. Yea ik big skill issue
Try arcade mode or bot matches first, there's definitely a learning curve

I don't get it. Why is this guy magical and special? Is it because we're out of ideas? I feel like the game has moved so damn far from its original intent that now its just a fantasy RPG with fighting game mechanics. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely cool and feels unique, but it's TOO unique. No one else in the game uses "soul magic" or whatever the hell is going on. No other character can do special powerup moves outside of feats. This is just jarring to me.
Hitokiri, the blindfolded sword guy, jorm, ninja, ocelotl all have magic abilities wym? Ocotl and hito even have spirit themed things
