You have two plot twists. If you play one of them and *still* don't get Beltrug after having drawn half your deck already, you are pretty unlucky. Plot twist is great in control or attrition decks, and adding a single legendary that can be *that* game-changing with the combo in hand rarely comes back to haunt you - especially when you can just swap the legendary for something else if you don't need it yet.
Kripp also remember augmented elekk when thinking about Plot Twist. You basically can go infinite by shuffling another elekk and plot twist into the deck or just avoid fatigue with single copy of elekk in your deck. So we have a combo that works like dead mans hand BUT both parts of the combo are good alone and you also redraw while going for elekk+twist which is additional flexibility. The card is insane. They only other card with that ability ever seen in HS was sticked to a minion and tested in arena for like a week or two and it was absolute bonkers.
I take it Kripp didn't get the memo about how the burgle mechanic will change. In future, cards won't give the Rogue player a card from their opponent's class, but from any class outside of Rogue. One card with the corresponding text has already been shown, but I forget the name.
Peter Whalen said in the stream that it's something they are trying out. If it works and doesn't turn out to be OP they will most likely continue to do that going forward, but right now they are just testing the waters.
I seem to recall it being stated rather more decisively than that, but I'm open to being corrected. In my opinion this will probably be an overall downgrade to the mechanic in every instance outside of the mirror, and possibly warrior, since most class-cards have some synergies with cards from the same class.
for 5 mana a warlock can make this a battlecry effect basically. we just saw mushroompower dominate at 5 mana. it works with eggs, minions, and warlock dual removal. i'dgive it 3 or 4 stars.

Great video Kripp. Although, you kinda forgot about the new card for rogue called "hench clan burglar" that discovers a card from another class guaranteed even in a mirror match.
Krip, you missed one detail: all the Burgle things get reworked to not give you from your opponent's card but from another class now. That makes the Rogue mirror WAY stronger.
How long after release will we see a match where the warlock doesn't have their combo assembled and the sabotaged Plot Twist makes them draw Betrug and their other Plot Twist?
Abou Vendetta, Blizzard is changing how Burgle works so on mirror matches that deck isn't shite or just plain unfun, and if it was a 3 drop it would be just a power creep on Shadow Bolt

Before people get too excited about plot twist, know it offers zero tempo. In combo with elekk you are investing in the fatigue game, which warlock does not play. With soularium you are preserving tempo when your hand has no good tempo plays. If you have a good play every turn it does not make sense to play plot twist. It is a purely reactionary card. It lacks initiative and can brick your hand. The legendary adds initiative but it is a 10 Mana combo that is inherently bricky. I'm just not seeing it being very impactful, purely a just in case card.
Kripp completely missed the part where all 'generate cards from another class' cards are having the 'from your OPPONENTS class' text removed. They specifically were trying to address that deck's mirror match up in which no one had any fun, and now you just have no idea what kind of cards you're going to be getting game to game.
In all honesty, I think Plot Twist should be a legendary and/or cost more resources to play. Maybe even make it cost 2 mana and health to play to add some synergy for warlocks.

@@Pseudoku_RL I totally forgot about that lol. Good point. Thoughts comparing that?
@@johnstonefield1935 Good points!
Echo cards working with plot twist? Curse weakness? 4 Times. And plot wist shuffle back to deck. Looking for twisting nether next turn))
Great video Kripp. Although, you kinda forgot about the new card for rogue called "hench clan burglar" that discovers a card from another class guaranteed even in a mirror match.
Crsytalsong Portal seems works pretty well in token druid.Didn't see kripp mentioning it though
eager underling + dark possession = mildly better fungalmancer
Nine lives with spider bomb alone is really solid and probably gonna be a deck on its own.
Krip, you missed one detail: all the Burgle things get reworked to not give you from your opponent's card but from another class now. That makes the Rogue mirror WAY stronger.
Zakading I’m pretty sure that’s just in new cards, they r not changing old cards
Thank you for the video! All of you friends are super awesome!
Fluffy squirrel whisperer = Druid of the Acorn, pretty sure that is what ppl on heartpwn manage to translate
No one mentioning that plot twist is an exact copy of the effect of possibility seeker from the taverns of time arena event?
How long after the release we are going to see match where someone plays that saboteur on turn 9 to make warlock cast Plot Twist and ruin their combo?
How long after release will we see a match where the warlock doesn't have their combo assembled and the sabotaged Plot Twist makes them draw Betrug and their other Plot Twist?
Is "Shuffle into your deck" a discard mechanic?
Kripp actually managed to rate the cards properly this time gj
Treant Druid creates trees from spells. Few minions. There's your support for it.
Abou Vendetta, Blizzard is changing how Burgle works so on mirror matches that deck isn't shite or just plain unfun, and if it was a 3 drop it would be just a power creep on Shadow Bolt
Seems like Blizzard likes the idea of aggro and tempo Mage. And, as we all know, aggro and tempo Mage is Kripp’s favorite archetype to play against in arena.
Plot twist shuffles your hand into the deck, but not necessarily at the bottom of it, which means that you still might draw what you have shuffled before
I can’t wait for the Plot Twist video where you redraw your exact same hand 😏👌
If Hearthstone had the ability to buy cards in singles (like in paper back card games) I promise you that the price of Spider Mines would have gone up 20 bucks apiece when Nine Lives was revealed. That card is going to be insane in the new hunter decks.
I'm too early, how do I skipp the kripp?
Use skip
Nine Lives in wild is gonna be fun
Where is no 3 of these series?
The first card should have stealth. By the way... ¿is Naxx already out?
No.
Vendetta:
If others play non-rogue classes--->simple to generate non-rogue cards--->more people play rogue--->becomes harder to generate rogue cards--->less people play rogue--->...
Different but still the same
The 2 mana druid discovery would be pretty decent in token druid tho.
Eager Underling + Grim Rally = Fungalmancer buff and +1/+1 your whole board for 5 mana
Eager underling sounds a bit broken to me. If you have sacrifice synergies its is basically a funglemancer
Fungalmancer can buff active minions, so it’s not really as good unless you land both buffs on chargers
Its pretty insane how different card games are, when plot twists effect is really insane in hearthstone but in other games its just a minus 1 in value.
In MTG it's insane as this kind of card usually fills up your graveyard by discarding your current hand, which makes room for reanimator decks, and also mechanics like Dredge and Flashback.
@@randalica92 well, discard and redraw is a complete different thing, in yugioh almost any card that discarded while redrawing is banned because its too oppressive.
Does magic trick's discovered card cost change with spell damage?
No. Spell damage only modifies, well, spell damage unless stated otherwise in card's text
Plot twist reminds me some yugioh mechanics. Add the discard warlock theme to the equation and it's safe to say that we're about to have a dark world deck in HS.
divine favor rotates but, crystalsong portal does the same thing for an aggressive druid?
Since when is divine favor a class card in druid?
@@TheSeth256 Not what I meant. What I mean is they got rid of a card that rewards you for emptying your hand and put another in a different class so the playstyle is still in the game they just moved it from pally to druid.
@@deadeyewolf777 No, crystalsong doesn't also punish opponent for playing slow deck and having cards in hand. Also, having cards from your deck is usually better than discovering random stuff.
ALL SHALL BOW TO OUR NEW GOD, SQUIRREL DUDE
Crystal song treant deck maybe?
So with plot twist u 1st shuffle then draw, so u might draw some cards that u just shuffled in right?
Never thought I'd see the day when Hearthstone got a Wheel.
Plot twist + augmented elik = dead mans warlock.... have fun with that
Waiting for PlotTwisterinoKripperino
crystalsong?
you mean: discover a flowerpetal florist?
real fun and interactive for standard
yeah fel lord plottwist into doomguards in wild with guldan, cube, and deathspeaker
great fun
well Wild isnt called Wild because its sluggish
Rogue is getting the new card that activates Vendetta in the mirror
Time to disenchant every Plot Twist I ever get
???????
I know you mean /s, but for real please hold on to your plot twists and disenchant them after the inevitable Blizzard nerfs
Richard McGovern i know it does seem like a good card for real
Here's a fun game. Pause the video right before Kripp delivers his rating on a card - Proceed to give a rating yourself and then count 1 point if u matched his, 0 points if you didn't match. EDIT: I matched Kripp in 4 OUT of 7
what would plot twist do against bomb warrior?
Plot Twist is the most OP card revealed so far.
Gadgetzan gazette + plot twist drawloc. Get ready wild!
