Bugatti have released the new €2.65m Chiron Sport at the Geneva Motorshow! The hypercar is fitted with a new exhaust system, weight savings of 18kg over the standard car and has a sportier configuration via 10% stiffer shock absorbers and a new handling setup. Mike Deveraux its just that a reduction of 18 kilos makes it seem like Bugatti didn’t really try all that much. Those 18kg could easily be made back by a larger driver for example.

Mason scottfree To be honest i don’t see the potential in the w16 engine to dilliver 2k hp reliable. Of course its a powerhouse but 2000 hp seems like a bit of a strech. maybe they can bring it up to 1700 - 1800 but that will be it.
The doors looks like, apart from the carbon fibre panels, like they could belong in any small hatchback. Quite amazing how the stealthy look and higher cost has made it look cheaper than before.
A savings of 18kg is quite minor compared to the total weight. Koenigsegg doesn't build cars with excessive weight items from the git-go. When they produce a car, every attempt is made to keep the weight out. The 1:1 was a fine example.
That’s a very very beautifully spec‘d Chiron! Nice color combinations and honestly it get it instantly! Very sporty and I prefer it to the ones with tan leather and chrome applications etc! But well 2,9 million + taxes (so in Germany 19%..) damn :D
For the supersport version or whatever its gonna be called they better get rid of atleast another 75 kg and atleast 200 more hp, if they can get it down to 1900 kg and like 1700 hp that be fucking sick
4 million USD after taxes is such an insane figure. I can only image how incredible it would feel to pilot such a space ship down the same streets as normal cars. It has to feel like Michael J. Fox in Back to the Future.
Powerful beast indeed! I personally don't like the "Sport" bit. Bugatti could have given it a fancier French name considering the amount one pays for it. "Sport" doesn't make the car sound as magnificent and royal as it actually is. Otherwise, I would say Bugatti makes dream machines!
