I feel kinda silly for admitting this, but I used the melanie martinez music box covers (like this one) when I'm regressed (for context: I'm an age regressor)
This is absolutely stunning, but genuinely wondering, is this done by an actual music box? I find it crazy how such little things can make a masterpiece.
If you mean a physical music box, then no. It's a MIDI imported into a DAW with a music box VST
The VST instrument was sampled and recorded from a real music box though according to its creators
