@@alpaca990 I think he might be wearing this dance teacher shoes - if yes, they've got a split bottom (like 2 half soles, 1 for the toe side, 1 for the heal side) that allows for toe pointing! But they do look a lot more like sneakers/runners than ballet slippers

As for Slawomir, I did a bit of research. I'm not surprised he is such a great teacher. He absolutely knows his stuff and has danced in so many ballet productions. His flexibility, extension, and turn out were amazing from what i saw in photos. Im looking to find video of him dancing in his hay day so i can see his dance personality. He's also choreographed a the a number of productions when he stopped performing. Also he seems like a perfectly balanced instructor. He did dance the Prince in Cinderella at Wroclaw Opera as his starter. His regality shows. Also, he's gotten outstanding School & Teacher for 20 years straight.
So much of dance is dominated by very young dancers (for obvious reasons) that it's so rare we get to see older dancers showing their skill. I'm absolutely captivated by Slawomir's moments revealing his absolute mastery.

this is about to ruffle some feathers but y’all don’t have to agree lolll but teachers often tell black girls we don’t smile or we have an unpleasant look on our face. I was told this by hater a*s teachers but i just have a very focused face sometimes because im an over thinker when i dance. I love dancing and very much wanted to be in class but i was told by a teacher it looked like i didn’t want to be there. I never witnessed anyone else get these comments (not saying it never happens to anyone else of course) gaining more confidence with age and being around more supportive teachers that advocated for me helped relax my mind. She’s the only Black girl there and i bet it’s very nerve wracking coming to class everyday dancing with people that don’t look like her. it was for me.
Unfortunately, probably not and it's a pity because he had a lot of solo performances, achievements and was a very handsome man. You can only view photos on Google
