Be careful when you are buying one of these that the focusing lever is not stiff to operate. It can become hard to move and then the lever, which is made of some soft alloy, will break. It should be smooth and easy to move.
Thank you for your feedback, definitely a sharp camera but the pictures we took with it aren't usually as contrasted as some other cameras which bring a kind of cinematic feel to it if I may refrase it that way !
Have to agree with you 100% Thierry. I have been using Autocords for years and, like you, have two of them. I have a Rolleiflex 3.5F with a Planar and yes it is sharper than the Autocord, but there really isn't that much in it in real world use. I have a review, with image samples, of the Autocord, on my channel if anyone is interested.
Looking at the name plate where "Minolta" splits the circle, and the fact it does not take 220 film, I think your model is Autocord II or Autocord 24, which was made between 1962 and 1965. It was export only edition and never sold in Japan. A pretty unique model actually.
Thanks the review! Definitely solidified my reasoning to buy it. Keep it going
Amazing ! Sure you'll love it :)
Thank you very much! This pushed me into film photography!
That means a lot to us, thank you for sharing ! :)

What film are you using?? The pictures turned out amazing. I may have missed if you mentioned in the video sorry
Mostly POrtra 400 and Ektar 100 :)
beautiful sharp photos, what apertures are you shooting at? Do you use a cable release/tripod in these photos or handheld?
Thanks for the new review on this camera. However, the images are not that soft at all. I own 2 of them and the images are definitively very sharp.

Can I ask what film stock did you use? I don't think I caught that part in the video.
Most of the shots were taken on portra 400 with a few exceptions taken on Ektar 100

Thanks for the extra detail, very nice to know :)
