Thanks to Litheli for sending the hedge trimmer out for review - it is excellent. This cordless hedge trimmer is so much better than my petrol hedge trimmer. I only ever agree to review products that I will (and do) genuinely use and I never get paid a penny by manufacturers to make reviews so if you ask me years later if I still have product X, Y or Z the answer will be yes (e.g. the Litheli power station). There are so many paid fake reviewers online who make fake paid reviews then sell the product that they have no use for so I'm committed to only producing video reviews of the best products that I use myself and only dealing with good manufacturers. With such a large garden I have no time for anything tool which is not quality and this hedge trimmer is quality.
I got the smaller one and the quality isn't as good...no safety stop on the end of the blades and the lade guard is terrible compared to this one. The one you have is far superior. The U handle isn't on the smaller one either...you had a result with this one buddy...Great video as always
Yes, when I was looking for Litheli products online I saw the other hedge cutter and it definitely did not look as good as this one. I could be wrong but it looks like Litheli developed a range of cordless tools a few years ago then decided to go back to the drawing board to incorporate the new batteries and power station as a more complete range. The new? range is great quality and I've got a Litheli backpack fridge / freezer review video to make live in the next day or so - it runs on the same battery and works exceptionally well.
@@pondguru Ooo...another one I might get...look forward to that video! And the charging box looks OK too. I charged mine on the Jackery, not sure on the draw on the one you have...the Jackery Explorer 1000 can only take 900w draw on it, but bought it during the 2020 thing. Be interesting to see some more on the capabilities of the one you use for the hedge trimmers. Best wishes to you all buddy, stay safe and well
@@stevetaylor8446 900w is still quite a draw from a power station. I've installed generator inputs in my cabin and also in the shed I use for the solar batteries. That allows me to plug in any of the power stations to feed the house and if I was replying on those it would just be for relatively low wattage appliance like lights, games consoles, TV etc. For anything heavier we've got the 12kW solar system and 17.4kW batteries. When all that was installed (with no govern-ment grants) I didn't realize that the entire solar system wouldn't work without any sort of grid power which is what prompted me to install the isolator switches / change over switches and generator inputs when I found out that the whole system was useless in a grid-down situation. You've got to be sure that your system will actually work in any sort of emergency situation, lol
Hi bought this hedge trimmer on your recommendation from Amazon and it arrived today. Lovely looking trimmer & your demo etc was good thank you ,however it came without a charger , very annoying. Only discovered there was no charger whilst unpacking it, so I would like to know how I can use this without a charger. Went on Litheli website which is an American firm and their chargers are sold out ! Can't find a compatible one either so you can imagine my frustration .On some of the 'infomercials' it never mentions or shows a charger being used and most American reviewers who unboxed , seem to have theirs included..Did you receive a charger ? so it's not only cordless but chargerless too. I'm sorry to say this is being reluctantly returned as it wasn't made clear , ( has taught me a lesson though) so I'm a very disappointed buyer and the cynic in me found the need to include a promo of the Battery Station for 700 dollars at the end a tad irksome.
That battery charges just like a normal 10000mAh / 20000mAh power bank in that it has a type C input. Any normal USB type C cable will charge the battery. I can't recall whether I got a charging cable with the hedge cutter but I already had lots of Type C cables and the large power bank into which the batteries plug into - that is why I featured that in the video since it can be used to charge the batteries (but doesn't have to be). That would make it ideal for anyone who had multiple cordless Litheli tools and wanted to charge the batteries on the go (e.g. if they were maintaining other people's gardens) while still having a power bank to charge / run other electrical items. Almost every small appliance I have (e.g. headphones, phone, power banks etc.) charges with a type C cable which plugs into a home socket / laptop / power bank etc. so charging the batteries of Litheli tools isn't a problem for me but I understand your frustration if the tool didn't even come with a type C charger and you currently don't have any USB Type C charging cables for anything you currently own. I see on Amazon that the tool is pictured with a charging cable and on the Litheli website under 'specifications' it says that it comes with a charging cable so it should come with a charging cable. However, neither of those sites show a charging plug into which you could plug the cable into. If you're in the UK just send me your address to sales@filterpro.co.uk and I can send you a cable and USB plug no problem. I have used this hedge cutter to clear lots of heavy vegetation in front of my vegetable garden and now the hens can get along that piece of land - it is great so it would be a shame to send it back. Unfortunately most of the 'reviews' online are mostly just unboxing videos which are quite worthless but I use everything I review properly before making a video. I'm currently working on an electric bike review and I've gone over 300 miles before even considering the review so I stand behind everything I review on my RUclips channels - if something doesn't perform well it gets sent back and doesn't get reviewed. Hope that helps. Regards, Richard
