However I noticed in your video that your score started a One and I believe most NPS scores start at Zero. But I still used your template and made a modification to include zeros in the calculations. I work for a company whose NPS is always between 88 and 90. This seems inordinate for what is going on in this company. And yet they plaster this NPS all over their website / materials etc . What are the odds that they are misrepresenting their NPS score in some way? Are there any safeguards in place?
Haha, yes, you would need to look at the underlying survey data....could be misrepresenting it somehow. Also, NPS isn't always a reliable metric, customers often say they "love" products when they are prompted for their opinion, but the real test is if they actually purchase, recommend to others, and then repurchase over and over again. Financial performance is the real indicator.

Is it possible to just ask customers one question you showed on your explanation?
Well the question is just "on a 1-10 scale how likely are you to recommend us to a friend". You could definitely just ask that question

Isn't Detractor scores 0-6?
There are actually many different questions you can use to analyze NPV. You could use a 0-10 scale as well instead of 1-10.
We work in a bank and we hav e a goal of 63%

@eric should fix that , because indeed detractors are from 0-6 and NOT 1-6
