Loki is literally having a big Sassy moment: taking over in the frame & barking while I’m trying to be a serious busy-ness woman. I just finished Sadie yesterday. a quick read, really good! I’m still waiting on the audiobook to be available through my library. soon! 🤞🏽 **stares at the Hidden Bodies copy in the background**
I feel like it always takes me like a week and a half to read just one book (due to work and blah blah) 😩. I’ve gotta figure out how to read more/faster/something!! How often does it typically take you to read a book you enjoy?
I usually can finish a book in a day. Most of the time I will end up staying up at night until I finish though which I don't recommend. I need more sleep lol
Can I just say you look beautiful? Also, Loki is adorable and Dr. Pepper in a mason jar is iconic, haha! :) I really hope I can get to Not Even Bones soon (since I wasn't able to in October). It seems like a book I'd be really into.
The Wicked Deep was very tropey, in my opinion. Just too much was very expected (such as the plot twists). The ending also was quite terrible haha. I was looking forward to more witchy stuff too. Not a great book overall. I now mostly just want to read a better book with witches in it! Any recommendations?
I still need to read more witchy books but some that I've enjoyed are Language of Thorns by Leigh Bardugo, the graphic novel Spell on Wheels is super fun, undead girl gang was also a fun take on more modern witches.
@@RileyMarie_ Great! Thanks for the recommendations, I'll check them out. One I've been eager to try due to its recent adaptation is A Discovery of Witches, which supposedly is quite nice.
lolll Loki giving his review was the best🤣🤣 I ended up DNFing Elizabeth Frankenstein, I MIGHT consider trying it again but after 100 pages I lost interest. Ps. Your blouse is really cute!
I basically need to read everything you read because my opinions on Contagion, The Dark Of Elizabeth Frankenstein, and The Wicked Deep is the same. . . . The Wicked Deep has also a pretty major consent issue because of well, spoilers.
SPOILERS/STOP READING IF YOU DON’T WANT TO BE SPOILED/ I wanted to start Stalking Jack the Ripper but hey I heard of the love triangle in the third book and I was like??? Why? Introducing an annoying and pointless love triangle when the protagonists are in an established relationship it’s just called cheating, nothing else. They were engaged, weren’t they? There is nothing romantic and justifiable about that. I’m a bit sad because the plot in general sounded so great.
Oh good, im glad i wasnt the only one who didnt like boneless mercy, it felt just all over the place, i actually just DNFed about a third of the way through!
I listened to Stalking Jack the Ripper last month and I hated it. :D Then I saw your video about Houdini and decided that this series is over for me. xD
I love how diverse your reading taste is! You always have a few books that I've never even heard of before.
Okay completely unrelated... but your makeup is gorgeous in this
Wow and aesthetic, Dr. Pepper Queen. I've been DYING to get my hands on Strange Grace, it just sounds so FANTASTIC!
Aww Loki is so adorable! I actually just bought Strange Grace because of you and can't wait to read it!! It sounds so good!!

Riley Marie 😂😂 MOM LOOK! IM USEFUL FOR SOMETHING
I just finished Sadie yesterday too! I was so unsatisfied with the ending, but I’ll get over it haha.
Great reading month, I’m especially interested in Strange Grace and Sisters of The Winter Wood. Great video!
oooh Strange Grace sounds good! I want to read Elizabeth Frankenstein, though it has many mixed reviews. great wrap up ^^

I also fell asleep reading The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein 🙈 and your dog is sooo cute!! 😍
yeahhhh that book was just too boring
👸🏻📚👸🏻🌹👸🏻🕯👸🏻❤️👸🏻📚👸🏻 great recommendations!! I think I'll start with "Sadie"!!
Not Even Bones sounds dark and right up my alley. I need to read it!
I loooved Sadie!!
I am so happy to see a positive review of Not Even Bones!! I got it last month but I haven’t read it yet and I have really high hopes 🤩
I hope you like it! I thought it was so good

Seconded. I really was disappointed in the lack of witchy things, and also the atmosphere.

yeahhhhhh i totally forgot to mention that but the consent issue really bothered me
Tell me again.. hooow do you manage to read so muuuch 😱😱 I always find myself doing stuff around the house and not reading... uhh
I do most of my reading in the morning before I get out of bed and then at night before I go to sleep
@@RileyMarie_ Thanks for the advice, I'll try to do this and see if it sticks with me 🤗❤

CAMI you should still read the first two. They're amazing
it really sucks because I loved the first 2 books and then this one just ruined it for me
Oh good, im glad i wasnt the only one who didnt like boneless mercy, it felt just all over the place, i actually just DNFed about a third of the way through!
DNFing it was probably a good idea. It never got any better
Oh my gosh. If I’m laying down and reading....I’m going to fall asleep. 😂
And I’m almost done with The Wicked Deep and I think it’s AMAZING!!
Riley Marie hey
I listened to Stalking Jack the Ripper last month and I hated it. :D Then I saw your video about Houdini and decided that this series is over for me. xD
yeah.....if you didn't even like the first book than it's not worth it
You know october is over when the old intro is back XD
I'm already waiting for next october so I can use the spooky intro again
I don't like anthologies either.
I really wish I did but idk why I just never like them
I wanna kiss Loki’s face so damn bad.
