The more the mother and daughter manipulated and schemed against Gao Jie and mother the goodness in Xiao Jie's and her mother's hearts comes out and the movie expose the toxic hearts of wu Xiaoci and Gao Hui because they are so selfish and wicked hence refusing to learn from all the mistakes they made as well as admitting the wrongs they have committed. Other characters like Mu Ziyun, and Yu Zhi they're willing to admit their wrong doings and learn from them and moved on..Even Yu Yi but because Gao Hui hurt him badly....there's some hope for most of the characters in the movie except Gao Hui who show no remorse and still so full of herself....
Trying to throw tantrums Miss Gao Hui after losing....bad news arrived about her mother ..... what a difference Gao Jie nearly missed the competition because Wu the wicked mother who tried again to prevent Gao Jie to compete against her daughter....what a turn of events that she pretended to have brain cancer and now she hurt herself tripping herself trying to prevent Gao Jie from going to the competition....whatever you do to others will come back to you...

I loved this story but all the clothes they wear are horrible. What bad taste these stylist have. Another thing why must all these shows make the female lead wear such short attire.
I think hateful girl is definitely due for some karmic payback and Gao Jie definitely has some serious good fortune due to her. Having said that, her design should not have won. It was an international contest for extremely high end jewelry. As much as I like her story of inspiration, it does not change the fact that her design looked like a piece of cheap costume jewelry that you could get at Claire's Boutique for $29.99. Cannot stand the other girl, but based only on the design, she should have won between the two.

The bird looks just cheap and something you would buy on the streets,the idea is beautiful, but the jewel is bleh. The sun is a elegant piece, but I can't really see how you would use that, is that a crown? A a ring? I don't know, but looks waaaay too much, more like a sculpture than a jewelry. Honestly, the other designs would have to be really bad to loose against those two.
That was the whole point of choosing pink crystal very inexpensive even if it was cast in gold, it would just be a fashion statement piece, whimsical and fun but with a treasured meaning behind it, i'd buy it though i wonder if she's designed the earrings to go with it lol!
@@yvonneburns2786 there's a difference between choose a cheap material and actually look cheap. Even if it's just a crystal, she's doing jewelry, but look like that aluminium and ringtones pieces you can buy in theme parks or festivals.
@@isasantos8577 i guess it boils down to the materials used though, i myself have real diamond rings set in silver, fancy yes but don't look it if you what i mean, i have created diamonds also set in silver that look like the real deal, so i suppose in the end it's the individual perception and illusion that really sells the piece.
