HEY! I know its been a while, this year I want this channel to focus on more entertaining/high quality content for you guys! But if you just wanna see me just make music, I have a second channel where I do a bunch of unedited cook-up vids! Make sure you check it out, there 's already 30 videos up there! www.youtube.com/@servidastream8250
@@Postglobalism I don't know if I would say standards have changed per say. Like I use FL all the time for my personal productions but that doesn't mean that it's the industry standard. Any professional studio you visit is going to be using pro tools, and maybe have logic.
This day was a viiiibe! Having pulled up to the studio with little context of the day you guys just had, I was super excited for this video to come out 🔥🔥 Now, when can we get the song? Abtin went in on that hook, Vinny killed me with that Steve Harvey line jeeeeeeez
I do love the intention and journey of this. Shows it’s more about networking and being spontaneous. As for the challenge, I think it’s obvious that if just an average person did the same thing and asked to make a beat, he would’ve said no. So as you said the brand and popularity will get you those opportunities but in reality it wouldn’t have been possible for the average unknown artist
I get what you mean, and no doubt their following helped get a lot of yesses that day, but the power of networking and being a good person at the end of the day is undefeated!
I would argue the more money you can spend on promoting yourself alone might lead to more success than people would imagine on the surface. Running ads for 5 dollars a day alone might eventually break even if you stayed consistent enough with releases, and hooked even a small audience
I often wonder if I was to go into a city and basically do what these gentlemen are doing but purely for networking. I also like the idea of finder other home studio producers to meet up.
This was more interesting then a Netflix series. Such a creative way to get things done with nothing else then your talents. I was so happy as you guys found the Studio. And then you cooked up a banger. Great video 💯💯💯
I like this style content! I've been getting more into this sphere of RUclips, and I love it so much! Just need people to sit down and talk about music with now!
Hi Simon. I’m glad to see that you’re back! ✌️ I have an idea for a video: It’s sort of like a “Try Not to Laugh” challenge. Essentially, you make a beat from scratch while watching videos that you’re audience sends you. And if you laugh you have to start all over. Well… what do you think?
Great video Simon! It was a great night cooking up some magic all together, I always find myself singing along to the hook when I’m walking around the house😂😂 can’t believe y’all pulled that whole day off on 0$
this is essentially how it was pre internet. You'd need to head down to all of these places physically or call them up from a landline somewhere and write everything down. The music scene is heavily decentralized and it's great that everyone can do it without leaving their homes, but something is missed. There was a huge culture around this. Entire neighborhoods geared towards this sort of stuff and it felt more connected because you weren't able to exist in your building without publically making it known. Now a days whole ass corporations are being run in peoples homes. it seems people trade one for the other. Appeal abrooad on the internet or make yourself a public staple in the culture of their city. Nashville still does it though.
Could you make a video on the process of a song or even better an album? Big ask I know. I’m new to the channel and it would be kinda cool to see that happen.
Listen to my musical rhythm for rap, and tell me your visions honestly because I am still a beginner but it seems a little professional face-green-smiling Thank you! ruclips.net/video/Nt-WYa57zzM/видео.html
Yo Servida and Kyle, Those were very dope beats you guys! Then they dropped some very hot melodies ❤🎉. Links to the songs please😂? Finding this later on!
Makes think of the idea of fl studio having a cloud based studio where you log in and all your projects ect are there this great is you don’t have your laptop on hand or the other person don’t have your drums ect
Simon. Can you please make a video on how to get inspiration for and how turn feelings into full on beats and songs. I have been feeling very sad recently and music is a way i can express myself. Please can you try to make a video on how to make music, how to write lyrics and mix stuff. I know you have a course but i can not afford it. I would be happy with a 10 hour video as well. I just love making music so much.

This was a great idea for a video.
W
you should upload the song
People don't realize we walked around the entire day before we got in that first studio haha
How many people did recognize you guys?
Got those steps in 🚶♂️💪
I dont think enough people are realizing the bedroom beat off joke lmao
Nice work!
Bro it shows! Wish I had the dedication and skill set you have.. wish I had vocals like you too 😂
"Okay guys, $0 budget for creating music"
*immediately pulls out $1200 phone to help make music*
Haha I agree but a 60$ Iphone 5S does the same thing :) you surely can get it for free from a person near you
Key word: Phone.
The thing that everyone and their momma's lady kats have in their pockets these days.

It helps if your a household name also . Beats were fire 🔥
the energy in this video got me so hyped yall we’re like little kids finding out you could spend the night or sm lol
I'm honestly more surprised the studio they found had FL, cause pro tools and logic really be the industry standand
Same!!
In my home studio I don't have protools and logic.Industry standands changed.

The term standard is wild , lol hit boy made NAS last three albums with FL studio

I’VE GOT STDS!!!!
I wanna hear the full track, that beat goes hard as hell and the little snippets with the artists sounded 🔥 too!

They shouldve gone to a public library and used garageband or bandlabs.

The part you did the vocals on the phone and then had it sent to go studio at 7:02 At was a good idea that I never even thought about

GarageBand: im boutta end this mans whole career
