I really appreciate Psalms 110 which presents the ancient Melchedek, a priest/king, as a symbol of Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, our High Priest and soon coming King. In this time of earth's history it is well for us to understand this symbolism. Jesus is carrying out his final atonement high priestly work in the Most Holy Place of the Heavenly sanctuary. He is judging the dead (and perhaps by now the living) in the service to set the temple in order, to cleanse it from confessed, forsaken and blotted out sins. Upon completion of His cleansing work, He takes off His high priestly garments and puts on His Kingly garments for His triumphant and glorious return to Earth to receive His own. I want to be ready to meet Him in peace, do you?
YES, YES, YES,!!! ofcourse I for sure is anxiously waiting for His glorious return and helping others to get ready for it also. God be praised and thank you for this enlightening presentation..
I just love these beautiful lessons. The poetry, intensity of feelings expressed, and obvious knowledge of the Godhead and Christology, are so wonderfully presented by these gifted men of God. How wonderful it would be to hear these marvelous themes being sung!!. A big word of appreciation to the author and all others involved in the final presentation. Thank you "It is Written".
