Love you and your amazing content and fantastic channel prayers and blessings for you and your family love your Aussie family friend John ❤❤❤xxx I hope to remember that I want to join your patron channel early next month xxxx
Storygraph is black woman owned, and I plan on upgrading to premium to support it. You can pick the format you're reading to fix your stats. It's so fun, and I prefer it over goodreads and fable (even though I also use both 😂). I think it's cool that you're a midwife! I'm a L&D nurse 💜
i am storygraphs biggest fan i love her ‼️ i think sometimes there is just errors with goodreads transfers :( you can change the covers of books with the little edition section next to the page and publish info next to the book! you can also specify audio/physical/digital here :) i find it easier to monthly just go on the pie chart of each format and check they’re right that way instead of every book at once!
For Storygraph: you can edit the dates started/finished for books as well, so you can edit the Andy Weird book as well. If you look at graphs and don't select a month but just leave it at -month- it will show you stats for all of the months. You can also filter by all time so you can check all of your read books, which is probably the easiest way to check if any are in there that aren't supposed to be.
OMG! Storygraph is my holy grail!!!! I'm so happy you tried it! It's really just a bit of getting used to! Please do try the random book generator (based on your TBR) as your next reads!
I love storygraph! you can set up buddy reads, have 1/4 stars and DNF the books. It does take a little bit to figure it out and how to use it but its my favorite book tracker.
Hi from New Zealand 🇳🇿 . I love your channel! Everything I watch your videos, my TBR gets longer 😂. I'm really excited to hear what you think of Rewitched. My copy arrived on Monday, and I'm so excited to read it. I use storygraph and love the stats pages. The one thing I learnt with storygraph is to make sure you add the right edition of the book audio/paperback/hardback ect that you read (but only if you're interested in the stats of what type of books you're reading). I also found the website version of storygraph way easier to use when mass updating my books read. 📚
OMG YOU GOT FACE OFF!! i just plowed through face off and power play and they were SO GOOD!! the whole time i was like “i need ellen to read these” i hope you like them bc they are my current obsession
At this point you might want to start StoryGraph off in the new year considering how many books you would have to sort out manually 😅 but it’s definitely worth it, at least I think so! You can add any book to your to-read list and then mark books as owned (which you can choose in the filter section!) which I find really useful, hope that helps Ellen!!💖
I love StoryGraph! I agree, it’s a little bit to get it set up, but once you’ve got it going, it’s fantastic. Best view is under your profile (the little person in the bottom right hand corner). For your overview of the year, just pick the year and not a specific month. I also really like that it lets you add re-reads and specific shelves. I have my physical books under a home library shelf, but then I also have ones for what I own for things like work related books, cookbooks and so forth. Enjoy! 😊 P.S. I love Suzanne Wright and pretty much own everything she’s released either physically or on my kindle. She’s the queen of paranormal romance for me!
Hey Ellen! Luv your new Jellycats!! I use StoryGraph and once you get used to it, it's amazing! Like some of the other subscribers have mentioned, just make sure you pick the right edition/format that you are reading otherwise it messes with your stats.
I love StoryGraph. I update each day how much I’ve read. I had to do a bit to get it sorted, same as Fable but I have both sorted now. Definitely feel like I prefer StoryGraph for stats
Not me running to Waterstones to get the olives because I saw that yours had them. I can proudly announce they have been bought 🤭 and I used my £10 reward 🎉
I only use Storygraph and just recently started using Goodreads this year. So, unfortunately, I can't help with transferring your data from Goodreads to Storygraph. However, I am a Storygraph fan! I love their format. And yes you can do half and quarter star ratings. There's a section for trigger warnings. You can track your current reads just like you can in Goodreads. Also, note the exact day you finished the book. That's what those dates that you saw mean. There is also a dnf section. There are book recs in there. Challenges like tbr jar prompts. You can buddy read on there. And just so much more. It's so fun over there. I got mine in 2022, so I don't recall if it was hard to set up or not. So, the only advice I can add is to manually alter the things you want to change. Also, I think it's better to use Storgraph on your computer than your phone for better access because they do have a website along with the app. Hope you enjoy it!
If you want to remove a book, click on where it says currently reading or read, and at the bottom, you should see an option to remove the book or to put it on your to-read list.
Omg I love watching your videos, I really didnt feel good today and I just slept away the whole afternoon, but waking up to see you've posted makes it all better. So excited to watch this vlog! Keep doing what you're doing ❤❤ Also I'm so early, I never have been before 😊 Update: I am so glad that you've tried StoryGraph! I love love love it so much, I've personally never liked Goodreads. When I first converted my books to StoryGraph, it did mess up quite a few things, but with a bit of time invested I got that fixed, and now it's working great for me, even if it takes a bit of time getting used to. And obviously it's not perfect, but that's because - I was so baffled and amazed when I looked into the story about this - that it's literally designed by a couple who simply wanted to have her own perfect place to track her reading, and so she build this app for herself and others who love books. As for Tips, it is a bit confusing, but it actually has like different editions of a book and you can choose if you've read it in hardback or Paperback, digital etc., that's always fun to look after and check that everything's correct. It can get a bit confused with the pages per month and stuff if you don't do that, since different editions might have different page numbers. And for the books you've read this year and the TBR books, there can be duplicates from exactly these different editions and things, and maybe it's sometimes messed up like the "Read Date" of the books when it imported the data from goodreads. It does take some time but it also happened to me and you just have to take some time once, look over everything to set it right, and then you should be good to go ❤ (That is a lot easier if you go to the website on your laptop, or download the app to your laptop, then you have a bigger screen and stuff) Last Thing, sorry that this is super long, but they do have super nice customer service, and tons of voulenteers who make the site better daily, since everything is manually added by these voulenteers, so if there's something wrong, like the page number, theres the option to "file a book ticket" and someone corrects it as fast as they can. It's such a fun Community! Lot's of love, Sophia ❤

I have used StoryGraph since starting my book journey and I really love the graphs for a visual reference.

You should read the Graham effect of you haven’t already. They’re too cute and they’re both hockey players! Also this video brightened my day xx
