The Real Reason Trixie Is Missing A Lot In Lucifer Season 6

- Lucifer is finally at an end after six thrilling seasons. The devilishly fun procedural, which began airing on Fox in 2016, was originally canceled after its first three seasons. Netflix swooped in to rescue the show, and released two more seasons before indicating the end was again near at the end of season 5.
So fans were delighted when Netflix premiered a sixth season of Lucifer in September. The final season wrapped up the story of Lucifer Morningstar, Chloe, and the entire cast of characters in an exciting 10 episodes, but one character didn't get as much screen time as a lot of fans had hoped. Here's the real reason Trixie is missing from so much of Lucifer Season 6.

Who is your favorite character on "Lucifer"?
Lucifer

That tech girl.
AMENAGOD
ALL OF THEM 😍😃. BUT LUCIFER
The fact they didn't get an actress to play Trixie as an adult at her mothers bedside as she died just pisses me off. Trixie would have BEEN there. Disservice to the character.
Yessss!!! That bugged me soo much , there is no way in hell that Trixie wouldn’t bet at her moms deathbed.
Actually they did, both Trixie and Charlie were at her bedside, but they deleted the scene because they found it made no sense.
@@carerforever2118 I would have much preferred that!
Yesss omg i thought im goin nuts of thinkin im the only ones with this thought.. i would die to see adult trixie and rory bonding on bedside at the end.. we were rob for that... especially after teasing their cool relationship when rory approach T and the wedding...
@@carerforever2118 so it made no sense for her firstborn to be there😂😂
Scheduling conflicts. Now you don’t have to watch two and half minutes of beating around the bush. 😂
You're a hero.
Thank you 😆
Thank you for your service! 😂
Thanks for the heads up. Much appreciated.
So the usual reason lol.
She’s one of the few child actors that was still a good actor till the end of the series. She was so natural as a child, not robotic. Hope she has a very successful career.
Don’t forget she shot DINERO 🤣🤣🤣
That little imp!
She acts in the show bunked
It was a real shame we didn't get one last Maze/Trixie scene in the final season.
In the background of one of the wedding scenes you can see Maze try to give Trixie alcohol but Eve not allowing it. Ik it’s not as good as a full scene but it was still cool if you haven’t noticed it
@@personperson8953 noticed that too. Guess maze never learnt from the first encounter in lux
No its not a shame.grow up.
You know I was really hoping that Trixie would of walked in on Lucifer in his Devil face and casually saying " hi Lucifer",like it doesn't even phase her at all. That would of been hilarious.😆
That would be so awesome, I was also hoping it would be brought up some how😂
I could see her doing that.
@@mariajukejax9649 Remember when Mazes reveled her demon side to her she said it cool. Unlike the other characters she seem more open to this.
That would have been awesome 😈
Trixie was a great character on the show.
Honestly if the finale hadn't gone the way it had, I could've seen a whole season taking place when Trixie is almost graduating high school, she's studying at the precinct, and for extra quiet in the room where people watch interrogations and she sees Lucifer go full Devil to interrogate and there's this whole drama because she would obviously be scared because 1. she doesn't know Lucifer is the Devil, she probably thinks he was just named after him and 2. Pretty sure Trixie has never seen Lucifer angry or threatening or ready for violence...the Devil face would actually scare the shit out of her
A great addition to the cast but by far the best of Trixie was her friendship and interaction with Maze
I liked her back and forth w Maze but I never got over the wondiferous interaction bet Trixie and Lucifer. Truly clueless regarding how one interacts w human children (hi there young human?!) & unaware of how dickish he sounded in his convo w Chloe in Linda’s waiting room, Lucifer and Trixie seemed to grow up together on the show, learning important values and lessons at the SAME TIME. And in the meantime, his hilarious interactions w Trixie allowed the audience to see BOTH how young (in his social growth) Lucifer truly was & also how some of the “important” lessons we teach our kids are actually somewhat hypocritical in tone. I wish only that the show had continued to show them together at the same rate in the last few seasons, but apparently the actress was trying out for lots of different roles at the time. (Of course, if Lucifer had simply given her more lines during each season, this wouldn’t have been a problem but I say this with 20/20 hindsight…)
The early years, tho, in particular were so so funny w Lucifer not wanting to get “kid cooties” (as far as I could tell) & since Chloe was indeed the most clueless of clueless detectives regarding her partner (I mean, she saw him do some remarkable, completely questionable things but just accepting that Lucifer managed to get into a room filled w poison gas, pick up the antidote for one of the boys and carry them both out of the room to safety was say, as absurd as watching Lucifer get shot in the gut, see a pile of blood slowly form around him, and then have Lucifer end up completely fine, not shot at all, w no bloody clothing (or water) in sight - in any case, since Chloe just accepted everything Lucifer did as things as usual, Trixie could simply bounce around thinking Lucifer might be a magician, and maybe her mom REALLY REALLY LIKED Lucifer is she went so far as to shoot him… Kids logic is great!!
I already miss the show SO MUCH…!!!! 😂😂😈😈😇🥰🥰🥰
Darling you have obviously considered this topic alot and I do completely agree. Hell, if anything I think that Trixie actually grew up and matured more than Lucifer. I just really enjoyed the interaction between her and Maze. Maybe more than anything else was Maze holding herself in check around Trixie because of her age and innocence even though she is a Demon. It was just really cute as she seems to catch herself right before crossing that line
The biggest question was where was Trixie when her mom was Dying...Mars?
Dead
Chloe is bessed
Rory is a half Angel
creators said she was in the other room with everyone else since Chloe asked for a moment alone with Rory since she knew she was going to time travel
@@PyerceLAX Which would then mess her up for the rest of her life thinking that Chloe preferred Rory over her.
@@richardvinsen2385 Well, since Trixie would have been 50+ at that point, that probably wouldn't be that much time. Plus, Trixie is smart and understanding. I don't think it would be that damaging to her. Also, did anyone know that Chloe would died right at that moment? Chloe may have already had some alone time with Trixie before Rory had her time.
Literally what I was thinking. Trixie should have been there. And Rory said she can see Chloe anytime, but Trixie can't
i hope disney doesnt screw her over theyve got a horrific track record with good young actors
@RollingDutchmann they’re much worse 😭
Just thought the same
I actually felt like having her less on screen was a misdirect, so it wasn't super obvious what was stopping Dan 'moving on'. However as a parent, I knew there was only one thing he was feeling guilty about the entire time, and as a parent, how could you not. I really loved that closure scene between the two of them.
I was so proud of myself that I figured out so early that his guilt over Trixie was keeping him from heaven.
Wishing there will be a spin-off show , telling the story and relationship of Trixie and Rory...
Same, that would be so cool
they never got know she was her sister so boboo
They need make another show with Trixie and Rory and they cousin we another show
Poor Estevez... Disney has her now, and there's a long story on what happens to Coming of Age Stars
DAMN I was just thinking about that 😳. She's really working with Lucifer now😈.
I think she has a lot to fill in not only did Lucifer allow her to be more in the spotlight but also a chance to get other roles for other shows and movies. Good luck to her in future roles she deserves it for her talent!
I wish they could've told us. I was so mad at the end of the season (and sad, obviously) that we were only able to see her like 3 or 4 times. What really got me was her not being by her mother on her deathbed *sigh* I'm not as mad after viewing this video, but I think it could've been handled differently.
You could still be mad because the time Chloe would have been in her death bed Trixie would have been a grown adult. They could have casted an adult stand cause it isn't believable that Trixie wouldn't have been there. It really bugged me
I agree they could have at least shown an adult Trixie at her mother's death bed. Given everything we know about Trixie there is no-way that she would not be at mother death bed.
@@Luno870
Trixie would be in her fifties the only reason Lucifer's daughter looks young is she is part angel.
@@Luno870 why get mad just cause a character you like in a show didn't have as much screen time as you wanted? Seems childish.
It is such a shame she was not in Lucifer more in season 6 but the scenes she was in was great. There is a scene where she kicks Chuck's ass. That one girl you really do not want to mess with after all she was taught by Maze.
2 cops as parents and auntie Maze? That girl is lethal and will kick everyones buttt
The story did not require her to be present.
Good for her she's got a Bright future!!!!
If the actress wasn’t available for filming, there’s nothing that Lucifer can really do to change that. However, what they COULD and SHOULD have done was tell the audience, thru explanatory dialogue, just WHY Trixie wasn’t there or what she was up to. It wouldn’t have taken much, but it would changed the feelings of millions of fans. For example, Trixie is not at Chloe’s deathbed, but a comment or two about how proud Chloe is that Trixie achieved her dream not only of becoming an astronaut but actually going to Mars! And then Rory could have said something like “the only thing missing now is her election for President” [a throwback to numerous comments made re Trixie becoming the President of Mars]). How hard could that be? I wrote it out in less than 30 seconds, & the concept is one shared by millions of her fans. Less than two minutes of dialogue re Trixie’s life would have made the difference between an audience happy regarding Trixie’s life goals (altho still sad not to see her) and miserable, concerned, & sort of flipped out by Trixie’s non presence by Chloe’s bedside at her death. Children don’t do that (unless it’s simply impossible for them to reach their parents) & then they phone or FaceTime, really. At least, children who are close to their parents. And w the loss of BOTH Dan & Lucifer, there’s an inference that Trixie would only get CLOSER to her mom.
Lucifer’s writers are either sociopaths or just really, really lazy. (Meaning that they don’t understand why other ppl would be weirded out by Trixie not being w Chloe at the end Bc they don’t understand empathy.) So, really, six of one… 🤬🤬😈🥰
rumors were that she died before Chloe
@@yankeesrule587 yeah, I started those. Or at least had a part in that. Bc I couldn’t imagine any other reason she wouldn’t be there. That was absurd. 😳🤪
@@prosen8966 lol she didn't die before Chloe tf u mean
@@chrisprilloisebola Chloe is on her deathbed. Assume she lives a long healthy life. She could live another 40 (possibly 50 years, though that’s unlikely). So Trixie would be either 54 or at most 64 when Chloe dies. They have a close relationship. Even more so since her dad was killed in duty and Lucifer randomly disappeared. Why in the ever loving fuck would Trixie NOT be at her mothers bedside when she passes away? Bc the Lucifer writers didn’t have her there. It wasn’t that she missed her mother receiving an award at work or wasn’t there for a “Congratulations” from the City (altho that would also be strange) but they literally left Trixie out of Chloe’s deathbed moments. Children are not capricious about whether they spend their last moments with their parents. I went thru this with my dad in Nov 2019 and it is the most heartbreaking, emotionally draining moment of my life to date. My sisters agree.
So, unless Trixie is truly on another planet or another continent and literally can not make it home for her mothers passing, she would be there. And as the show made Chloe’s death appear to be that of old age and not some sort of hideous disease, there would have been plenty of time for the doctors to give Trixie notice to come home depending on how Chloe’s heart or lungs were doing at a certain point in time. Trixie would not miss the last moments with her mother, most especially Bc she never got to say goodbye to either her dad or Lucifer.
So it was BEYOND LUDICROUS that Trixie wasn’t there. Just boggles the mind. That was where the question came in: where in the ever loving fuck IS Trixie if not at her mothers bedside. And considering her fairly depressing life wherein her mother appears to get seriously hurt on a regular basis; her dad appears to get beaten up a lot; Maze says something incredibly hurtful about her that stings for a long time; her mothers relationship w Lucifer yo- yos so much that she ultimately gets mad at Lucifer for not being a better “adult”; her dad is killed from out of nowhere; and not long afterwards, Lucifer disappears from her mother and her life for good. Trixie appears to be a poster child for teen suicide. Or adult depression leading to suicide. If nothing else, her younger sister is a total brat, and completely and utterly selfish to boot (IMPO). I did not like Rory all that much… Just what would make Trixie a happy and okay child after so much loss in her life?
But, okay. Let’s say that AmeniGod and LInda do enough talk therapy w Trixie to keep her going and she comes to terms with her life as is. Why isn’t she at Chloe’s bedside? It’s beyond unusual. They don’t have her on FaceTime or even mention that she was there but left with her husband, yadda yadda. Lucifer did NOTHING AT ALL to explain Trixie’s nonexistent place by Chloe, and having spent six seasons getting to know Chloe thru her loving relationship with her daughter, that’s ridiculous.
Either the Lucifer writers are the stupidest writers on earth or they honestly thought that the millions of Lucifer fans would not notice that Chloe’s first daughter, who we literally saw grow up (on tv) for six seasons, was missing from her deathbed. That’s where this came from… 😢🥺😈🤬🤬🤬
I loved Trixie. She and I both have a deep love for chocolate cake. I wish the actress well in her endeavors
Trixie has grown a LOT between S1 and S6.
Watching her grow up in lucifer.......love it
I feel like her acting skills dropped once she got a bit older. She has an unnatural smirk the whole time.
Scarlett's got amazing talent, I can't wait to see what she makes of herself.
Its unfortunate that they couldnt work around her schedule. I would've like to see how she reacted about Lucifer true identity. It still however doesnt excuse the poor storytelling of season 6.
It's unfortunate, because there are so many paths they could have down with Trixie that they couldn't because of her getting other work. We never really found out if she knew Lucifer is the devil, or her reaction when she finds out, if she does. We don't get to see Lucifer maybe trying to be step in and be more of a father to Trixie after Dan's death, and how that relationship evolved. When we see Rory together with Lucifer and Chloe as a family, it would have been so nice to see the four of them together as a family. She didn't have a ton of screen time in the show, but she was an important character that people really liked. It's great that she was able to book so much work, and I guess in the long-run, that's what matters. But it's a bit sad that her character on Lucifer didn't get the send-off in Season 6 that everyone would have liked.
Well said! I was gutted it didn't 'complete' Trixie's journey and even felt a bit irritated it was all about some other daughter. I loved the Rory character and the actress who played her was awesome...it should have been the first season of a spin-off about Rory set in the future! I'd love that!
@@jessicataylor7174 I didn't hate Rory, but I can't say I really liked her that much. She was such a huge focus of Season 6 at the expense of other possible storylines, that I have mixed feelings about her huge presence. I also feel badly about the fact that Lucifer and Chloe never got to enjoy their lives together on Earth, largely because Rory begged Lucifer to leave, and he did has his daughter asked. So I'm not exactly getting warm and fuzzy feelings about Rory, and don't really need to see a show devoted to her.
Then write your own fanfic. We didn't get the send off cause the plot didn't demand her role in the story was done.
@@jessicataylor7174 how is fan fic well said?
@@lampad4549 Write our own fanfic? Maybe the writers and showrunners of the show would have had to content themselves with writing their own fanfic, if the fans of the show, who your snippy comment totally disrespects, had not saved the show for them. So now we can't have an opinion? The story did not have to end the way it did. That was a choice, and one that many fans of the show feel was not sensitive to what most fans wanted to see. Fans wanted a happy ending, not a "bittersweet" ending, which for many of us was unsatisfying. And they have every right to express that.
I love Trixie man. She is awesome!
I was hoping we’d see an actress play adult Trixie in Chloe’s death bed scene where she and Rory would be with their mom in her last minutes.
damn..Trixie really grew that much
Homegirl got a new project/job, thats why. That's literally why.
Trixie was barrely in the series after s3... Which is ashame, she was clearly top character with Lucifer.
I’m glad she was still around for season 6
It is great that Estevez has new work lined up, she really is a terrific young actress. Her on screen interactions with other cast members were organic and fluid and showed a range of acting ability far beyond her young years. The only real problem is she went from working on a show about the devil to working for the devil of the child entertainment industry. How many young stars (especially female ones) come out of it with damaged; mentally, emotionally and more than likely sexually.
I love him so much Tom Ellis is so beautiful ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🖤🖤🖤
I’ve been commenting on all of Rory’s videos like where is Trixy but she’s my favorite kid on so many shows I didn’t even realize
Too bad Netflix wasn't around to save Firefly
all i could think all season (6th) was "does Chloe not have a child she should be tending to??"
In the later seasons, I could tell her acting was different. I couldn't quite place why the style seemed familiar, but now I can see its that type of Disney acting style.
Yes! I thought her acting got worse. Didn't really understand why. But it's the Disney acting.
Is it just me or does Trixie look more like Ella's kid than Chloe's? hahaha Like she resembles Ella so much.
I’m glad Lopez found out but I wish trixie did too
I thought it was cool that they used the actor who plaid God on supernatural
Aww Trixie girl 😩💜
Never have I ever been so new to a RUclips video.
I am re-watching the show and I am almost to the point that Trixie is kidnapped by Malcolm. I do not like it when she was kidnapped, but I love the part when Lucifer comes in and save both Chloe and Trixie. And yes, Malcolm goes to Hell, but I didn't see him at the end of season 6, when Lucifer is the therapist from Hell. I see some new characters and Reese, from season 3, episode 7, "Off The Record". One of my favorite episodes, by the way
A quick Spanish note here: though the accent mark might have been literally lost in translation, her last name Estevez is actually written Estévez in Spanish, meaning its stressed syllable is the second one, not the first one.
Bonus: all Spanish last names (or surnames) that end in "-ez" mean "son of" whatever comes before, pretty much like those last names that end with "-son" and "-sen" in some other languages.
Extra Bonus: as far as I can think of, all last names of this kind have their second to last syllable as the stressed one.
@GreyJedi 2001 I'll be more precise: "child of...", as in Spanish there's a different use of gender. Anyway, it's "Esteban", though this also brought the much rarer "Estébanez" (and now that I see it, one rare occasion where the stressed syllable changes). "Estéban" is Spanish for "Stephen" as you might think.
It felt like the last few episodes of Lucifer were very rushed which given the length of time that the show had run for was a shame. There were a number of loose ends left.
Adorable kid
Good for you Scarlett go forth and cute the world, much luck.

I never saw much of Trixie when the Series was on Foxx
Trixie is one of the most realistic depictions of a kid I have seen tbh
Such a darling.
Trixie was my favorite character to watch the show. Should she been done more in Season 6? He’ll yeah but I get why due to school stuff & whatnot.
bruh she didn't even interact with lucifer or maze whole season
Why the fck even Chloe started calling her Trixie :D Her name is Beatrice, imagine if you have daughter named Beatrice, do u start calling her Trixie🤣wtf
Guess she had to do something when it wasn't clear if Lucifer would get another season or not. Don't mind her not being on screen as much, but she wasn't even mentioned. Rory acted like she was an only child, and Lucifer only talked about his daughter, not his stepdaughter, when saying how he would try not to leave. Poor Trixie was completely forgotten about.
Haven't finished S6 yet, but noticed with Dan being dead and Chloe wanting to help Lucifer in hell, Trixie seems to be left on her own. The writers should have handled that better.
I remember the first time I saw Chloe Moretz on a film - it was amazing. she could only have been maximum 12 - probably younger... but... such a presence. I KNOW its very, very uncool to admire young girls - I get it - but admiring talent - I hope - is different. Acknowledging their ability without... well... perving... thats the important thing. I really, really admire young actors / actresses that deliver a believable role. There are so many child actors who you look at and think... "you think you are in a school play". Occasionally you see one and you think "You're a Pro". I have never been involved at all in that industry... but.... from the out side..... we need more actresses (and actors) like this. There's a reason Harry Potter did so well. There's a big industry for child actors playing mature, grown up roles. Disneys day are numbered.
That finally was beyond excellent just saying
My favorite character on the show.
six season AND A MOVIE!!!!!
it created so many questions when trixie wasnt on the deathbed of her mother, like where was she,did she learn about Lucifer and the whole devine thing since Rory was an angel and her sister, did she ever question about lucifer's "disappearance"? It kinda pissed me off
Would've been acceptable if Trixie was with Charlotte and Dan in heaven having lunch together. That would've explained that she died young and is living eternity with her dad.
Another scenario: Since Scarlett had other obligations, when Chloe was on her deathbed, she died at age 78.
They could've hired a 45 year old actress to portray Trixie standing by her side.

hey WTF man? No mention of spoilers? I was just wondering why Trixie was missing...
Scarlett Estevez, like Jenna Ortega and Isabela Merced, is going to be a big actress over the next few years.
I'm still disappointed she never got to know about the celestials. But considering her sister was an angel she must have found out at some point later in life. Would have loved to know who she became as an adult.
According to the showrunners Trixie did know since season 1 episode 1 when they first talked. Remember she said "Lucifer never lies" . She asked "The ring has Lilith´s immortality in it?". She was clever enough to know that the half-demon face Maze did show her in the Monster episode (season 2) was not painted in such a short time on her face...
Wow im always thinking

So Lucifer goes from hell to Hell.

You have to assume Trixie had a good happy life and got to go to the silver city aka heaven , could have used an older actress to play adult Trixie with her sister at Chloe's death though, If she ever had a son she could have named him " Daniel" after her father .
