Coming to Norway has definitely opened my eyes in a way no other country has. I’m learning and living. Norway ❤. And learning some more. Thanks so much for your continued support. It means the world to me.
At 74 I would be exhausted… so glad you are roaming the world while you are young and healthy!! And creating videos for a lifetime to look back and enjoy.
Big props to you for even attempting to drive around a foreign country. I get stressed driving in a new city. I also appreciate you sharing the cold weather gear you chose, and how it performed.
Girl you have balls of steel! I couldn’t do it, I couldn’t do it. Especially alone!!! Thank you for taking us with you to Norway. It is absolutely beautiful. Be careful and have fun.
My husband and I travelled thru the northern Arctic in 2010. Norway is beautiful. A must see for all Americans. We landed in Iceland back when it was more economical to land there. We also left from there at the end of our journey thru Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Estonia. Except, not in winter for cryin out loud! Recently flew to Egypt via Frankfurt. My luggage did not make it. Took 4 days. Thanks Lufthansa!Your Fjord scenery just cracked me up.
Since you obviously made it back to your room safely since we have the video, I was rolling laughing when you said you were just following everybody else driving through downtown. When that watch started chirping, I cackled. 😂😂😂 Traveling mercies and the lessons learned are for real. We have all been there, Nomi. Glad you made it back safely to your hotel. I'm sure that was sweet relief. 😂😂😂
Nomi, you passed by a few square signs that had a big blue "P" - those are Universal parking signs. Gotta love your gumption, traveling alone to a foreign country, you got strength girlie! ❤ Hey, you posted this video 11 hours ago and already have 35,000 views! Congrats!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
It saddens me when the videos end. But considering that I’ve just found you…you know what that means?! Two years worth of content to binge….winning!! Be safe out there friend!

Wow, lil sis, Norway!!! What a great surprise. These journeys are getting so interesting and exciting. That ice had your face red as a beet. But, you should have that face mast that they had during Covid. The plastic shield that covers your whole face.. I got mine from Amazon. Also, i didn’t see you have your stick for hiking. Lil sis, be careful. Im glad you got out of that place safely. Ok, God mercy’s praying that he keeps you safe ❤❤😊
This episode tickled me. First the ice beating you up.. “oh hell nah” then the heart rate monitor going off “retreat!” 😂 Thanks for the consistent wholesome vibes and epic adventures 🫶🏽
We were just in Norway for the first time in September but we opted for a guided coach tour to cut down on stress! Went on to Iceland from there. If you want to experience mind blowing wild nature, drive the ring road of Iceland! It can’t be explained. I can’t wait to go again!
I lived in Tromsoe for a few years. Since you are in Norway I would recommend eating fish, like salmon. It’s very fresh. There are busses you can take to the centre, cheaper than taxi. Happy Friday to all the family here! This morning as I'm pulling up to work, I got a text from my brother stating that my Uncle passed away this morning due to cancer. Please tell your loved ones you love them. If no one told you today, I LOVE YOU GUYS AND GALS! Nomi, Thank you for this video.❤ You ALWAYS make me smile 😊
Nomi I am so proud of you. You have overcome so many obstacles and fears. I’ve been supporting you since you started van life. It’s a pleasure to watch your growth. I am amazed every time tune in to a new video. The sky is the limit keep on flying high sis. Stay safe and keep going. You are a great inspiration to me and many of your subscribers. I’m actually living vicariously through you. I have seen such beauty in the world because you take us along. I appreciate you Thank you❤❤❤
Depends on the airline. My airline has three boarding groups, but you're encouraged to gate check if you're in the last boarding group. I love that you travel the world! I believe everyone should work to travel, even if you have to work multiple jobs. See the world. Explore other cultures.
There's always google TRANSLATOR, all you have to do is point your phone cam to the signs and it translates everything to english. It recognizes any language and it's easy to use.
Yes! This was a life saver in Quebec. I even used the English to French translation in Google search to help a French-Canadian man find a nearby scenic trail!
Nomi, I Love your style! I Love traveling with you. Otherwise I wouldn’t go. I am not adventurous like you. I am learning a lot through your journey! Keep up the good work! You’re my favorite channel to watch! You go girl! GOD BLESS you and keep you safe always. You’re in my Prayers ❤
Out of the Darkness & into the light Nomi that is simply put beautiful music as you go driving to your first fjord. I love music that has the power in it to make your entire body relax just by listening to it. Very nice😊
You have been such an inspiration to us as we moved into our van and hit the road full time. We can’t wait to do more international travel. You have built such an awesome community of subscribers and we hope to follow in your footsteps!
My first trip to England years ago, the family that I was staying with allowed me to use their car. I got stuck in a roundabout and couldn’t get out so I went to the center, called a cab and left the car😂. The cab driver made fun of me the entire ride 😂😂😂. Between driving in the left side and the roundabouts (it was before they became common here in the Midwest) I made the executive decision to NEVER drive when traveling outside the country 😂.
Hey Nomi, that's crazy with the wind and snow. I was like girl get some food and go back to your room. Try to sight see another day . But be sure to check the weather first. Be Blessed Family!!❤️❤️❤️
Nomie, what a wonderful video! Sorry 'bout the sleet to the face! While you're in Norway I hope you'll take a ferry across to the Shetland Islands and give us a video!?! It's so stark and lovely there. Thanks for the adventures! Do keep up your playlist. I've watched it through twice now. You're terrific company for this old' gal! Stay safe!
Nomadic must have an obsession or fascination with the arctic circles or both north and south poles..perhaps in a past life she was an eskimo..it s possible..In nay case Kudos for living her passion
Nomi may be saying her prayer silently. Praying in public so as to be seen is discouraged in the Bible, and it annoys me when I see RUclipsrs doing so.
***hello, what you just experienced, I experience every winter for most of the winter in Upstate NY. Ours is way worse than what I just saw in your video. We also get several feet of snow etc. If you want to experience a really harsh, cold and tons of snow during winter, come to Upstate NY. We will welcome you. Our ice storms get pretty bad as well. Here they only cancel school if the weather is extreme. When I went to visit family in Georgia one Thanksgiving, it snowed about an inch. They canceled school and there was literally no one driving on the roads. We laughed at the site. The few people that were trying to drive had no clue how to drive in any amount of snow. Most of the winter we have at least a few inches of snow on our roads. No problems driving in it. Again if your raised driving in the snow, there’s nothing to it. Be safe, have fun and thank you for your videos.***
I'm surprised you didn't look up about Norway to see what their street signs mean.Because every country has different ways of directing people especially by street signs. You are really brave for going over there. When it is their wintertime cause it can get really bad I'm sure. And I think that if I were to go over there I would want to go when it's really good weather so I can get out and see more and not have to worry about driving especially in a blizzard
Loved this video, congratulations on your journey in Norway, it looks like winter wonderland in November. I laughed out loud when your car didn't lock & you realized you hadn't turn it off, I done that a few times myself. Yes play it safe during your adventures there. God Bless❤❤
36:41. Wow I had that exact Mini ... no way would I be driving in the snow in my Mini! LOL. Thanks for taking us on your travels Nomi ❄ That tunnel would freak me out!
Thanks for sharing your "misadventure" with us. I for one has had a similar experience and it's not fun when you are in it, but with time - you will laugh and appreciate the experience. My own misadventure taught me to be humble when I am not feeling comfortable navigating traffic in a strange city (even here in the States) and to hire a taxi or an Uber to my destinations. This is what they are there for and worth every cent, sous, pence, centavo... Take care and stay safe.
Loved this video! My 9th grader who is home schooled is studying Scandinavia in her geography class this week. When I saw this title I called her in so we could watch it together! So cool to actually see what we have been reading about. Can't wait for the next video!
embrace the wind, the signs, the tunnels the parking...all things unexpected ...that's the learnings and things you will remember and share for years. amazing footage. you're so brave!
You passed several "P" signs which typically means parking friend 😅. Not sure if you have iPhone but Android has a feature if you take a picture of anything (signs, packages, etc) it will translate, this would come in handy
Ufffffff I was stressing watching you drive through town 😳 I definitely admire your resilience n determination!!!! Be blessed n enjoy your time in Norway 🤗
Thank you for the laugh 😂… I always love living vicariously through you on these EPIC adventures. Norway is one of the destinations on my bucket list. Looking forward to more of your videos 😊.
Omg Nomi I was laughing so hard at you driving not knowing where you were going. And your watch going off. Reminds me of when I first moved to Florida and got lost trying to go to a job interview. Whew the stress, emotions, and flashbacks, were real today. Thanks for including this, and I would never drive in a country where I can't read the signs.😅
I appreciate you sharing your adventures. A suggestion, check the official language of the country. I visited Singapore in 1973, we were with a tour group and the guide explained that the official language of the government at that time was English. So it was easier to navigate because they spoke English. I did wonder if you spoke Norwegian when you said you rented the car. It is all part of the adventure. Be Safe. Enjoy!
Girl that wind!!! I thought it was going to carry you off straight off to the land of Oz!! Wow!! 😮 Loved seeing your new travels!!! Be safe out there 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Beautiful view from your hotel window. The snow makes it look cold . Yes, we could hear the ❄️ Like the music you were playing. Good you were prepared for the snow and cold,. Beautiful places you take us True it's harder to see when you're short.😊 The wind was really whipping .That ice had to hurt your face . We've all been driving in unknown areas. You did a great job . Thanks for sharing your adventures. You keep us snil6😊
Norway, what a surprise. Beautiful scenery. Hope you had a good moisturizer or Vaseline on hand to put on your face from that ice blowing in your face. You don't want your skin to get wind-burned, it's so painful. Rules of Travel: 1.Use air tags. And since you like traveling with carry-on bags consider traveling business class or economy plus(just below business class). 2. Do your research based on what to your activities are going to be in the county you're traveling to, especially if you plan to drive, you should research at least the basic driving rules of the road for the area you're in. Do you have to have an international driver's license in order to drive in the country. Get a feel for the country's street signs. This will avoid any unnecessary anxiety/stress. 3. Purchase a translator.
I think if driving in a foreign country the first thing to do before you arrive is study their road signs, and if you have the google app it will translate Norwegian for you,you just use your camera.I thought you would have realized that when snow is so icy it hurts, not a good day to go to the fiords.I hope your other days were better,as I could see this one wasn’t something you would like to repeat.Good luck 😊
So happy for you! There are museums downtown…you can use an app to park. Oh yeah…Google Translate for English to Norweigan language and we would scan signs to figure out what it said. If they have an outdoor gear store, see if you can rent cleats for your boots. There may be ferries to the various islands. Try the seafood. Looking forward to your next video.
Yess a new one. 🎉🎉Always watch immediatly ❤ Keep up the good work.. It is always so chill to watch...even when some things that are scary . It is still chill
Interesting destination. Can't say I've ever wanted to experience the Arctic in winter but it was kinda funny seeing your reaction to the snow versus the ppl around you who seemed pretty unbothered. One of my biggest concerns when traveling internationally is not having an understanding of the language. Not everyone speaks ENG and even when they can they often don't want to in their own country. I've experienced this a few times. Looking forward to the other vids. Be safe!
That burger king meal was about $13.29 in american dollars plus tax so it actually equaled out less than what we pay in american @ burger king which is $15.69 plus tax.
I always feel like I'm right there with you... but this was SO up close. You bring the world to our screens. I am so grateful for you. Your videos and travels also always make me see and feel God. I get to see (thru you eyes and COURAGE) all that the Lord has made... outside of my state, my town ... the U.S. Girl, THANK YOU!!! and bless you and BE CAREFUL!! My heart rate was up too!!!!! lololol 😱
Girl, I got such a big smile on my face. Here I am thinking you’re traveling in the US and here you are going to Norway. Thailand, Alaska, Norway, you go girl. Have a great time. Be safe. ❤😊😊
Nomi, I was so surprised that you were going to Norway!🤗❤ You never cease to amaze with your travels!😊 I totally, agree with you about Norway being beautiful even though, I can imagine that it is more so, there in "real time" and also very cold.🥶 I'm looking forward to more videos of your your Norway trip! Keeping in Mind....Safe Travels...❤
Hello thank you for sharing. My first night in Norway, I would have looked for something other than Burger King. Just saying. Hope you Enjoyed your stay. Those same sauces are here in the United States. Be safe out there. 🙏🏾❤️
When you're tired after a long day, you just want something familiar and fast. But I wouldn't have gone to BK, because they support the genocide in Gaza. And I don't want to spend even a penny of mine to go to any business that help slaughter and starve children! But that's just me, I want to be able to sleep at night.
Coming to Norway has definitely opened my eyes in a way no other country has. I’m learning and living. Norway ❤. And learning some more. Thanks so much for your continued support. It means the world to me.
I love it Hun I have my own money I would love to come with u !❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊
Love your vids, NomiNiNi. They're getting more sophisticated every time! Glad you're enjoying life and sharing a little of it with us. ❤😊
Lovin on your videos❤❤
Wow your off again to the unknown. May God continue blessing you and your family always 🙏 🙏
Are you going to Svalbard?! How exciting. 😊
Same I rather have locals drive me around especially in big cities.
Welcome to Norway! A real treat and honor to have you here 🥰🇳🇴
You have a beautiful country.
@rinna2269 that was nice of you to say
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL. I stay in Alabama, and we very seldom get snow. It is an absolute DELIGHT to see Norway. Safe Travels Nomi
My dream is to move to this beautiful country.
What a surprise! Norway! Wow! We just never know where you’ll end up next! Have a great time! Be careful! We love you!!!❤
Girl you have balls of steel! I couldn’t do it, I couldn’t do it. Especially alone!!! Thank you for taking us with you to Norway. It is absolutely beautiful. Be careful and have fun.
Same here!!! I admire the heck outta her!!! I don't even eat alone in restaurants, lol
Exactly I would've been asking everyone I know to come with me 😂
What's more courageous is her out in that cold, winter weather ❄️🥶 I live in the Midwest and it's been pretty warm this fall.
Right!!! I want to be Nomi when I grow up!! Even though I’m old enough to be her big sister. 😂❤
@@paulafamularo5001 hahaha. Same here.
I always find myself talking to the screen like you’re speaking directly to me- 100% invested in your stories lol
Same!
Yaaaas! 😊
So same!! I was like "NO, Nomi!! Get out of there!!! It's beautiful... but be careful!!" lolol
😂 me too, I’m like really girl?
My husband and I travelled thru the northern Arctic in 2010. Norway is beautiful. A must see for all Americans. We landed in Iceland back when it was more economical to land there. We also left from there at the end of our journey thru Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, and Estonia. Except, not in winter for cryin out loud! Recently flew to Egypt via Frankfurt.
Start with video 1 and progress to the present. It’s awesome seeing Naomi’s transformation 😊
Nomadic introvert was def an inspiration to us as we were getting ready to move into our van and start our channel. We can’t wait to do some more international travel!
Ohhhhhhh the binge will be sooooooo satisfying. Just wait.
Careful now. 😃 Nomi is subtle and sneaks up on you. Before you know it, you will enjoy her videos and look forward to seeing her next one. Her editing skills are amazing. You’ll notice her growth in that area when you watch her early videos compared to her newer ones.
That was me when I found this channel. So worth it. Her journey is amazing. Enjoy!
You are one brave woman. That weather is crazy but glad that I get to see Norway though you. Your channel is amazing btw
This episode tickled me. First the ice beating you up.. “oh hell nah” then the heart rate monitor going off “retreat!” 😂
Thanks for the consistent wholesome vibes and epic adventures 🫶🏽
Thank you for allowing me to live vicariously through your adventures! You are a warrior!
I loved Norway. Beautiful and safe. Babies sleep outside of restaurants in their strollers while the parents eat inside. I was shocked..❤
We were just in Norway for the first time in September but we opted for a guided coach tour to cut down on stress! Went on to Iceland from there. If you want to experience mind blowing wild nature, drive the ring road of Iceland! It can’t be explained. I can’t wait to go again!
Wow... Just wow! Thanks for sharing. All of it is amazing.
I am cold just seing this..yet i am in my warm bed..
Me too!
Same here!
I just had to pull up the blanket.
I lived in Tromsoe for a few years. Since you are in Norway I would recommend eating fish, like salmon. It’s very fresh. There are busses you can take to the centre, cheaper than taxi. Might be an app that you can pay your buss trip with. It’s overall more expensive in Norway, partly because the salaries are overall higher. If you can’t read signs, I would recommend a translation app that translate the text from the image you take.
Wow! Thanks so much for sharing such beautiful and inspiring travels. You are an amazing lady.
I have to give you props I would never try to drive in a foreign country. I have such a bad sense of direction even with a navigator 😮
Aww I am so sorry to hear about your uncle .. I'll be praying for you!! ❤❤
1️⃣ Number one rule when traveling. ALWAYS AIRTAG YOUR BELONGINGS, CHECKED BAGS & CARRY-ON 💯💯💯
Agreed, I did this with my families luggage and mine too when we traveled to Arizona in the summer. I checked it whenever I got the opportunity to.
Bingo!
Nomi I am so proud of you. You have overcome so many obstacles and fears. I’ve been supporting you since you started van life. It’s a pleasure to watch your growth. Yes! This was a life saver in Quebec. I even used the English to French translation in Google search to help a French-Canadian man find a nearby scenic trail!
yes, google is a mastermind
That wouldn’t allow her to be SUPER DRAMATIC during her videos them 😂😂 Love her but it’s getting ridiculous especially for a veteran
The tunnel was probably made to help you travel in the winter time (all of the snow)….keeping you from driving in the snow. That’s cool
Great point!
Nomadic is such a positive soul...She always adaps herself..Bravo Mademoiselle!

Aw, bummer, you drove all that way and you're cozy...wish you had stayed longer but I love your enjoyment and adventurous spirit
I have traveled internationally and usually take a cab or taxi. Too confusing! Plus I never wanted to deal with an accident of any kind.
My first trip to England years ago, the family that I was staying with allowed me to use their car. I always thank God before I eat the food he has provided for the nourishment of my body. Prayer and Thanksgiving is everything.🙏🏾❤️🔥
My mind is always stayed on God. So I may not always pray out loud.
Nomi may be saying her prayer silently. Praying in public so as to be seen is discouraged in the Bible, and it annoys me when I see RUclipsrs doing so.
That's nice, but I guess your God doesn't care about poor and hungry people! Some kind of God, he's either totally incompetent or totally cruel!
@@cowuor1 yes, AMEN🙏🏿 why be like the pharisees!!!👏🏿
Man Nomi that snow was beating you up. Loved seeing Norway so beautiful. Be safe and hope you enjoyed yourself. ❤❤
OMG one surprise after another, that tunnel was long and scary enjoy your stay be safe and Thank you for sharing..

That was a fun adventure on my break😊 Can't wait for the next video. I will continue to keep you in my prayers 🙏
The blue “P” sign worldwide… generally indicates parking. 🅿️
Was funny watching you drive past so many of those signs!!!
I imagine how beautiful it would be there in the Summer,Amazing and Thank you!
Moved from Norway to USA I’m glad you enjoyed it!
You are very wise, brave and courageous in your solo travels, Nomi. I believe Norway is insular for reasons we don't speak of.

Ufffffff I was stressing watching you drive through town 😳
I definitely admire your resilience n determination!!!!
Be blessed n enjoy your time in Norway 🤗
Nomi said her face got beat up 😅 she so pretty and funny 🥰
Thank you for the laugh 😂… I always love living vicariously through you on these EPIC adventures. Norway is one of the destinations on my bucket list. Looking forward to more of your videos 😊.
The fact that you got your Whopper without the things that make it a Whopper, made me cry out loud!! 😂❤
Ok! I was like that’s just a cheeseburger and her reaction to it was hilarious 😅
😂
Wow!! 😮
Loved seeing your new travels!!!
Rules of Travel:
1.Use air tags.
I dont blame u. U said its time to go. And i totally agreed with you.
The downtown looks like inside a snow globe, nice, but I was stressing with you. 😅I’m like, that’s it, praise! Him. 😃❤🙌🙏🏾
Looking forward to your next video.
great advice 👍
Be safe!
That burger king meal was about
$13.29 in american dollars plus tax
so it actually equaled out less than
what we pay in american @ burger
king which is $15.69 plus tax.
My heart rate was up too!!!!! lololol 😱
Very informative content, and a beautiful country to explore. Thanks for taking us along for the ride!

Nomi,
I was so surprised that you were going to Norway!🤗❤
You never cease to amaze with your travels!😊
I totally, agree with you about Norway being beautiful even though, I can imagine that it is more so, there in "real time" and also very cold.🥶
I'm looking forward to more videos of your your Norway trip!
Keeping in Mind....Safe Travels...❤
Those tunnels are sick. They look so cool, but I feel like I’d get lost so quickly 😂.
My heart was racing with yours while you went through the tunnel. I must admit i did laugh when the watch kept going off.
Hello thank you for sharing. My first night in Norway, I would have looked for something other than Burger King. Just saying. Hope you Enjoyed your stay. Those same sauces are here in the United States. Be safe out there. 🙏🏾❤️
I was thinking the same. She probably didn't have many other options where she was at
When you're tired after a long day, you just want something familiar and fast. But I wouldn't have gone to BK, because they support the genocide in Gaza. And I don't want to spend even a penny of mine to go to any business that help slaughter and starve children! But that's just me, I want to be able to sleep at night.
*sigh* really
