My first ever camera was a Kodak Brownie 127 (no clue what happened to it), then inherited my father's OM1n (still have it), and bought this exact Canon for pocketability. I used it for YEARS (still have it), usually with 400ASA film and the hit rate of decent shots was excellent. Images were never as sharp and contrasty as from the OM1n, but the camera you have in your pocket is infinitely better than the one in its case at home.
I think the entering the kingdom bit is about gates IRL. Thus a nuisance but far from that difficult....I digress😁 Gosh, times now long since passed when this camera was competing. APS film was coming for its 5 minutes of fame and by decade's end it was collapsing fast for film even if it did not quite know it....... A nice trip back and some super results..
i picked up this camera from a car boot sale last weekend and loaded some Kodak gold 200 will my photos come out like trash? i wish i watched this video b4 i loaded the camera. great video very informative
Not a question I can answer but I know in my own case, that the camera itself is basic but pretty good. Good enough to blame the photographer for any trashy photos, anyway.
I recently got this camera, but I haven’t been able to figure out how to make the flash pop up on its own, I literally have to manually open it. It looks like you just slide across the lens cover and that made it pop up automatically, is that all you have to do is there a button you press? Maybe mine is broken? Thanks for reply in advance mate
Yep, mine pops up on its own whenever you turn the camera on. Thanks for watching. If it still works, maybe don't think of it as broken, just that it needs a bit of encouragement, like many old things.
Lovely video and photos. I have a Canon Sure Shot Z90W, 28-90mm f4.5-9.9 lens. It's my daily companion.
Thanks for the comment. That extra 20mm reach could be useful.
Come for the photography stay for the comedy love it 💯👍
Always welcome!

It's definitely a keeper.

Fortunately this one shoots 35mm and missed the blight of incompatibility that came with aps. It’s still a full frame camera!

Hey man, I know your country won't be a democratic nation, but I would probably vote for you.
You can be vice president.
