I follow an esthetician on RUclips that specializes in dermarolling. She says that the rollers that don't have individual needles are not good and she also demonstrated with a banana. I don't know if it's true, she sells dermarollers, so she may not be 100% objective. But I have tried dermarolling (with her rollers) and I have definitely seen a difference, but I'm not consistent. Thanks for sharing this great info! I need to start doing it again. Also, there's a book on Amazon about this, I think it's from the creator of dermarolling.
Don't agree with this one... see a dermatologist if you want microneedling. They can control the depth based on skin thickness and position yielding better results. You only get one face and you can achieve the exact opposite of what you are going for.
