So good!! The Korean Elphabas are severely underated. The fierce delivery and the way they attack the ending is ridiculous. You can feel the anger, the desperation, the total unhinged defiance. It's insane. I really wish there was a Korean soundtrack. It would be my go-to.
Back in the day (like 12 years ago) many Elephants really delivered those lines. Recently they seem to be throw away lines rushed through and underwhelming. Not sure exactly when that started, but I agree that many new Elphabas don't deliver them as fiercely as they should. It's like they are too focused on getting to the flying portion and not the build up. They rush them and it is lackluster. I miss the old days.
I wish they'd done an official cast recording with this cast, Son Seung-Yeon is absolutely incredible. Does anyone know where I might find the Korean lyrics? There's a video of her performing on a TV show which has on-screen lyrics but she skips the whole second verse...

Jackie Burns is the only one that comes close. Korean Elphabas are on a whole other level.
