If I saw my opponent adjusting his headgear WHILE THE CLOCK WAS RUNNING, I would shoot in for a takedown. Charles O'Connor, New York City
Charles OConnor refs hardly stop matches. Really the only time is if there is blood or the end of a period
@@jacewid208 Oh, so I'm imagining those thousands of times I see the ref blow his whistle and the kids stop wrestling and stand up? What about my other questions, like the wrestlers adjusting their headgear with the clock running? If I were wrestling and my opponent did that, I'd shoot for a takedown. But they never do.
@@14stuyvesantoval how long have u wrestled
@@mikek3252 Hi, I only wrestled informally - my JHS and HS never had teams - though I tried to start one. I went to a wrestling program at the YMCA in my late teens. Also, a group of us got together and wrestled casually - there was one guy I wrestled about 15 times - 7 pins for me; 8 for him - what was strange about him was: I never could take him down to the mat, no matter how I tried; he always scored the takedowns - though I could actually pin him.
@@14stuyvesantoval how often have u ever wrestled a full 6 mins. It is super tiring lol and that can explain y when the opponent adjust his head gear some wrestlers take advantage of that rest time. Also, coming from a wrestler/football player headgear can get super messed up compared to a football helmet
Great vid brotha
So I just found out I've joined the hardest sport as my first sport🙂
Wrestling just read defensive line
Wrestling is literally fighting against a skilled opponent football is mostly just oonga boonga when it comes to physical contact
In football if you break a finger you tape it up and keep playing.
Wrestling is more of a lifestyle. It takes over your life when your in it.
Same. I am 120 and I am dropping down to 115-110
Blakeblazin, sounds like hell. I’m staying at 120😂😂
I played football and wrestled. There's no comparison at all, wrestling is vastly harder/tougher than football.
Wrestling is my second favorite sport but I like baseball the most
Still weigh 128 and I can’t get back down to 113
Wtf u weigh so less bruh?
Just wrestle 120s pussy
Eat ice meals
angel Vasquez u prolly can’t even wrestle 113 😂
I’m 120, just go 120 my boy
You should make about new middle school wrestlers for six graders
Wrestling is the hardest sport in the world carry you and the company at the same time with a 24 7 schedule traveling with serious injuries and no time off and screaming fans constantly in your face and in the airport to then have to do it all over again the same way tmrw
Football doesn't really even compare to the toughness and danger that pro wrestling puts you through
Football is fun. Wrestling was fucking hellllll
Wrestling is the hardest sport in the world carry you and the company at the same time
Football where an individual plays Half the game with 30 second breaks in between six second plays lol
No time off for injuries at a fast pace traveling 24 7
Do you wanna be choked out and paralyzed by an anaconda or hit by a truck while wearing shoulder pads. Wrestling is all about endurance and skill with insane amounts of training and discipline against someone in your weight class but nothing and i mean nothing feels like getting hit by one or more dudes with over 100lbs or more on you smashing into you at full speed.
This is gonna piss some ppl off lmao
The hardest football practice was nothing compared to the easiest wrestling practice.
I do both and I think wrestling is harder
Yessss
I play both
l FacelessBuckle l respect
Football is way harder..not saying that wrestling is easy but you just have to have the mentally and the strength to be hit hard asf and when a kid is coming at you full speed, knocks you out...wrestling...I did it and you have to just move and adapt to what’s happening but in football you need to have hand-eye coordination and you need to have all energy because you almost never stop because once you are done with a play you go onto the next and you train for almost 2 months straight and then you have games...if you get injured during wrestling..you lose...if you get hurt in football you have to sit out but most likely it will be a bigger injury when your playing football vs wrestling...
Not even close you have to carry you and the company plus a 24 7 traveling injured no mater what
Try badminton or pingpong
👍
160
It's boxing
Faaaax
Xc track
And this is coming from a guy who clearly said he never played organized football foh then buddy how can you speak on this then
Did u ever wrestle?
