For people who don’t want to or can’t do a 7 day cruise such as traveling with a kid or your family or can’t take that much vacation time this is perfect! My wife got hurt (not cruise fault) on Norwegian Prima last year and we were thankful it was only a 5 night cruise
So sorry to hear about the injury. That's very well spirited of you to not blame the cruise. I love short cruises. Less baggage. Less cost. Less pet sitter. Try a boat to see if you like it! Also don't get stuck at sea for days at a time.

I am really looking forward to the Icon which will be my next cruise. What I like about it is that there are a lot more areas with ocean views. Really love the floor to ceiling windows in the promenade area with outdoor space and seating.

The suite options on a lot of the royal ships are great and this ship is no different. too many people for me but, I must say, the aquatheater suites was probably one of my favorite rooms I've experienced cruising (the haven aft-balcony on Norwegian is #1 for me that I've experienced).
I thought this was Icon of the seas ? I see it’s a other one and just as good ! I love that it’s a four day cruise cause my husband doesn’t want a 7 day cruise. This is perfect !

The back to back to back idea is really good. What is that like upon embarkation and debarkation? Do you have to pack everything and go wait in the terminal for a few hours?
I think like a lot of people the other side of the pond we were hoping they’d give her a run around the med for the summer! We were planning to do New York/Symphony of the seas - now I’ve got a few more options to think about!
I definitely understand that. With Oasis, Anthem and Odyssey already committed to the market; and the US selling much better this summer, I do understand the decision.

What do the Handicap Accessable rooms look like?
Love love the Oasis class ships!! Some others have said that it doesn’t have enough places to watch the ocean, that’s ridiculous there are loads. The ships like Celebration and all have more bars and stores where the oasis class has the boardwalk and Central Park, you don’t have ocean views from any of those places and having the beautiful open areas on the oasis class. We have had balconies over the boardwalk and it is not noisy inside or on the balcony. We were also able to watch the Aqua show from our balcony.
I agree. We love the boardwalk balconies. You get the best of both worlds. The atmosphere of the boardwalk and the ability to watch the aqua shows while also being able to see the ocean.

Another amazing video like always. I'm booked for the icon, Odyssey and Wonder. Don't know if you're able to answer this, If I want it to combined the 3 day and 4 day together, would that be two Separate down payments because technically is 2 different trips or would i be one. I enjoy every video.

Thanks we are going Sept 2024. It was a smart money making move to do a 4 and 3 night cruises to CC and Nassau. We are in Orlando FL, so prefer the 4 night get away a few times a year. Glad the space were Wonderland was will now be the Italian restaurant. Wonder was good but Giovanni’s was great and have eaten multiple times on a 7 night cruise. Hoping more information will follow for already placed a deposit for our cruise.

It also looks like one of the main pools will be like an infinity pool with water going to the glass above Central Park. I dont recall seeing that on Wonder.
Probably because RC will have to make Utopia more special than Wonder. After bringing out Icon which is a groundbreaking new class of ship, they’re gonna have to make Utopia look special so people don’t see it as just ‘another Oasis Class’ ship
The omission of the Bionic Bar is a bummer, as I loved it on Harmony this past winter. I do like the idea if a tiki bar though so I GUESS I’ll cope. I doubt Icon will have a Bionic Bar then as well. A shame as I’m booked for September 2024.
Im very interested in how the LNG engines are different. Wonder was a fantastic ship but the kids play area and mini golf on the top (starboard?) side had a thin film of oil and diesel particulates coating everything. Not sure if this is a design flaw with the aerodynamics/exhaust design or a cleaning and maintenance problem but it was noticeable and good thing the Windjammer had a hand wash at the kids entrance too.

@@dannygenung7723me too! With a young kid, 7 day cruises aren’t really possible. Sometimes 7 day cruises feel a bit long especially when traveling with your family lol we just got off the Disney Wish and 4 nights Monday to Friday was perfect I recommend it!

In this cruises by Royal Caribbean line, food and entertainment inside of the ship is all inclusive, or all the food and entertainment has to be purchased as extra while on the journey? Thanks for your help
All included. What’s not included are specialty dining restaurants, alcohol, sodas, specialty coffees.
Oh, there may be some activities on board that are extra but for the most part everything is included

B2B sounds like a good idea EXCEPT the cost of just one short cruise is already overpriced. So, a back to back is really two overpriced cruises for families. For me, I would probably pair a short Utopia cruise with a sailing on a different ship that is less expensive.
Do you have to get a passport to cruise to the Caribbean islands?
Nope. Normally an ID and Birth certificate will suffice
I highly recommend everyone from US travel with a passport, even if it's not "necessary". There are lots of videos out there about things that happened and when people did not have passports, sometimes that was just an extra complication for them during an already stressful situation. It's just my recommendation to help in unexpected situations. Happy cruising!

Did Symphony last May, liked Central Park, Solarium Bistro, impressed with Aqua theatre and CocoCay was an experience, but too many people; too big; service suffers and would imagine even more so on these super mega short cruises. May be good for younger families, but not for me. Looking for destinations, not resort experience.

Your videos are very informative about the ship itself, but you never mention the prices of the rooms....disappointing...
This is a bit of a waist. The Oasis class ships are far too big for 3 and 4 day sailings. I went on the Allure on a 4 day and never saw half the ship. I suppose this may also mean they may be posting an Oasis ship in Europe full time.
actually it's perfect. if you just want to experience the ship, i don't mind skipping Coco key and Nassau. Been there multiple times. I rather spend the 4 days on the ship exploring.

Well one of their direct competitors actually does have ships near this size. MSC is over 215,000 now as well. I know they're easy to forget in the US especially on the west coast but they're clearly trying to change that.
When it comes to onboard experience, overall amenities, and service, we do not believe MSC is a direct competitor yet.
@@HarrTravel I'm just saying there are 4 major companies and each has their main leading line that offers their general all around experience aimed at families. And in that sense it's the same type of line.
The pros and cons of each has always varied.

@@Sean-C MSC is bigger than NCL. And is furiously building 2-3 ships per year. With Carnival pausing new ship orders it isn’t out of the question that Carnival becomes #3.
