I was lucky enough to catch two of the concerts in germany (even though I had to travel like 1500 km total) and both of them were absolutely incredible in their own way. I cried at both of them, just hearing you play Cocaine and Abel or First Day of the End of My Life with that amount of emotion really hit me hard. I'm so thankful I got to talk to you. And I can't wait to see and hear you on stage again. Thank you for everything you do.

Cocaine and Abel I held really personal and seeing it live shook me to my core. I found cocaine and Abel soon after one of my best friends died. The emotion that it was performed with and the emotion from the crowd was exactly what I wanted it to be

I love the music, Amigo the devil got me to explore more into the depth of dark folk music and murder folk- and I'm grateful to have my horizons expanded to an entire world of sound I was missing out on. love the logo- reminds me a bit of zeal and ardor, another avant garde metal type band. If they ever toured together I think I would lose my literal and figurative sh*t (might be good to lose my literal sh*t- not sure why I have a collection of that)

My old best friend is no longer with us...he saw him live here in Dallas couple years back afterwards he got to meet him and said he was the nicest guy ever, Gerardo was def his biggest fan I'm happy he got to meet him before he left this earth.
As a kid who listened to metal and rock into my adult hood, I truly enjoy his music. He has a Tom waits and Johnny cash vibe. He's an amazing artist.

Met him at Muddy Roots Festival 2019 outside of Cookeville TN, working at my brothers food truck, didnt even amigo know the devil was gonna play, got to introduce a lot of people to this heartfelt music, at the time i was going through a bad divorce, and hearing i hope your husband dies hit me hard
Saw him at muddy roots this year ('23) and I was damn near in tears at some points. Such a powerful performance. He was absolutely trashed, but he did beautifully on everything but keeping his instruments mic'd or plugged 😂

Saw amigo in the Netherlands by very lucky accident. Tivoli Utrecht! He did a bit of slayer’s angel of death, the supercute version. I was the one shouting SLAYER!!!!
