Fantastic painting! What an interesting pattern in the wall stone stack. It looks fragile and also strong.

That’s a good way to put it - these walls never come down in the strong winds but you can easily push a stone over or catch it with your foot when you’re hopping over.

Thanks Roísin! Jim from Madrid, Spain.
Very nice video and very inspiring... It helps us see that in reality, anything can be drawn/sketched (as they say nowadays)... so, thank you! And specially for letting us watch you while sketching outdoors... I believe it is the most "natural" way of doing art, as it always has been done, before all the technological advances we have nowadays (which are not bad, but they don't provide everything a real artists needs to grow)... but what do I know? I'm just learning...
In any case... ALWAYS!!! THANK YOU!
    Cheers from Sunny Spain!

I love to be outdoors to work - it’s all so beautiful. Plenty more where this came from, I have a whole summer ahead of me for painting outdoors. Thanks so much for your kind words Jim!

I think it's a spring thing 😂 every spring I find myself out on the lanes hunting down lichen encrusted dry stane

Very enjoyable video, Róisín. And what a beautiful and convincing sketch.I used to do a lot of artwork up till a few years ago until life and cancer got in the way. But I got through it. Now I really must get back to art again. I loved the way hours could go past without me noticing because I was so immersed in what I was doing. I've subscribed to your channel.

Beautiful job Roisin. I’m obsessed with ditches and often can be found photographing them when home in Sligo. They remind me of walking home from school.

I didn’t walk home from school but by golly I walked a fair few miles walking home from the Gaeltacht back in the day. What is it about the romance of a dry stone wall?

So good Roisin, can’t wait to sketch with you. Where did you get that small pan box and the paint incert?

I made it Susan! Looking forward to tomorrow too. I actually have a couple of spare ones, I must put them up on my website.

I ordered the supergranulating urban set today from Amazon. So I spent todays money lol but If you are going to sell the little white pan insert I would love to buy it. 😊

Great videos Roisin but it’s quite difficult to hear your voice because of the music.
