Simmilar Shamanic culture exists all across the Himalayas. Today, even though the Himalayan people have adopted Hinduism, Buddhism or Islam but many of us have preserved our ancestral ways of life, language and religion. Proud of that!
Awesome, thank you for sharing this. I am researching my family roots and histories in Pakistan, particularly the indigenous roots. Really glad you made this.
The diversity on this planet is mind boggling. If we were to live a thousand years we still wouldn't see half the planet. Maybe technology will shorten our journeys. A beautiful country. 👊☘️

As a guy from gilgit , I have witnessed this in my uncle’s home in my childhood when he called a “danyal” 😅I was so horrified at that time , literally he talked to evil spirits . This ritual is now dying as it is said to be against Islam .
@@SyedNasrullahTariq-pi9gz It is just a old himalayan practice not a separate religious group . As all gilgit people are muslims but still our ancestral practices are being followed.
@@AliSher-c8u that's great that people of gilgit baltistan have remained attached to their culture this is a proof that religon and culture can coexist
This isn't Arabic land, the documentary was shot in Gilgit, Pakistan. But yeah blood is considered Haram in Islam (thats one if the reason why this practice is on the brink of extinction), however shamanism was practiced in this region long before the arrival of Islam.

What an underrated masterpiece this film is! Loved it. 🙌
Saving to my anthropology playlist.
Although I highly dislike their rituals of drinking blood and dancing with an animals head.
@@نادرالیراحمان Totally respect your perspective but I genuinely love how this film portrays how Shamanism is being practiced in Pakistan.

What a documentary man. I have been to the meadows of Dobani Bilchar and I can guarantee you that this is all true.

Black magic exists and jinns also as discussed in Quran Pak.But prophet pbuh advised not to contact fortune tellers or kahins

Does Islam believe in shamen culture?
Can anyone tell me what is this ? Exactly is it a disease or smth else ?
It is about shamanism, which is a spiritual practice found in cultures around the world.
They drink blood? Isn't that very taboo in Arabic lands?
