is the real test going to be harder or the same level as your sample? Also, in part 5 and 6 why does not Celpip consider to have questions show up during audio? I think those questions need to think and answer and the time provided may be tight, and that will lead to guessing which mean the test may not evaluate people skill properly.
1:06:29 “I think I’ll get these two, one for my husband, one for me.” then the answer “Sounds good! follow me and i’ll ring these up for you.” This interaction shows very clearly that she is just about to purchase these items and says it and the salesman confirms it. I would argue that the question has a specific answer and is not in the category of “Inference” but a “Specific Information” category. The question should not have been an “Inference” question as the answer is a “Specific Information” answer. Just my own thought about it.
Most of the time, especially in section 5, there are two suitable answers. The two choices can be inferred from the conversation! How should we know which one is the correct one?
Hi Fariba! Inference questions will be identified with signal words in the question, such as "likely, probably, etc." Once you have identified an inference question on the test, you must select the most logical answer from the list of options. (There will always be one best choice). Please note that not all questions are inference questions. At times, you will read phrases in the question like "According to the passage,..." These signal phrases notify you that the answer you seek comes directly from the passage, and inference skills are not necessary. To answer these questions, identify relevant details from the passage and match them to the answer choice that discusses the same idea. (Again, there will be only one correct choice). Be mindful of paraphrased ideas and synonyms; ideas discussed in the audio may be worded differently in the answer, but the meaning will be the same. - Brandi
Thanks so much for this coaching. It was really helpful. I have written CELPIP 5 times and i kept scoring 6 in L and R. But i need 7 and above in L and R. This is holding my PR application. Please i need your help.
I would like to know the range of score for CLB level 7 in listening correctly. I have searched many websites to find out about that but not sure if it is accurate because it shows that CLB level 6 is 22-28 score and CLB level 7 is 27-31score.
Hi Aimee. Please go through this link for PR related queries www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/language-requirements/language-testing.html
I just did a free listening test that you gave me and what she said is not true they did asked one or two questions where they refer to the man with the sweater agree with this statement or this one so this is not accurate.
hello. why do such a difficult test, even people who know English can hardly solve it. People work for years in Canada in the hope that they will find a new country for life and their future children. Make life easier for them, let them live in Canada and benefit.
Lmaoo the notes for the news report are so unrealistic. How can anyone physically jot down so much when they are being bombarded with information. I have my CELPIP tomorrow and I have no idea how I am going to do RIP

Thanks! My first time listening this program

Yes that’s correct

Can I repeat only one component in the celpip test instead of repeating the whole test? only listening ?
Hello! Thank you for your comment. You will have to retake all 4 components of the test.
I have heard that it depends on your situation. Sometimes they can let you to retake just one part.
I just did a free listening test that you gave me and what she said is not true they did asked one or two questions where they refer to the man with the sweater agree with this statement or this one so this is not accurate.
GOOD LUCK ME FOR MY EXAM..
