Ah, my weekly episode of 'What Shane watched on Netflix'
Shane quit nearly everything he ever tried, got fired from the biggest comedy show in history and still became a comedy legend.
There is hope for all of us.
Well he and others worked VERY hard and deliberately on those Gilly and Keeves skits in order to generate interest for their own stand-up itself. And Matt really wanted the podcast to happen. Also, not many of us are just…. Idk. Not many people are “it” (to use a gay ass term). But through their specific life circumstances, the thoughts their specific experiences provide to them, and the thought put into their own thinking (Matt specifically lmao) they ended up being exactly “it.”
I’m basically saying all this for myself, so as to not try to even slightly justify my own shortcomings. But I do think it’s worth thinking about.
The skis are happy this week, bless you gentlemen.
