I think you should put your mental health 1st. Abuse is Abuse. I personally haven't experienced any (thanks to my mom) but I've had family members who have, both physical & verbal. Her dad was extremely abusive to her mom & verbally to her (her mom was verbally abusive to just not to the same extent)(there is a history of Abuse, her grandpa to her dad). He actually told her that her brothers were more important than her. She had to cut him out of her life & unfortunately her brothers to. She basically put her mental health aside for years and now its like everything came to a head forcing her to deal with it & it's starting to affect it physically. Please do what you have to as long as it's in a healthy way.❤

@@janispaige9935 thanks so much for sharing Paige! It’s really true if we ignore our mental health our bodies can suffer. I really appreciate you sharing and saying it’s okay to take care of my mental health.

You’re not being selfish at all 😊 you’re just asking for basic human kindness & respect.
I’ve had to cut people out of my life & set boundaries. Going no contact with people isn’t unloving - if anything, it’s the most loving thing you can do. It’ll force them to reevaluate their situation & make necessary changes.

@@KatharineBoucher Thank you! Your comment really means a lot to me! Sometimes we forget it’s not okay to be treated poorly!
