A real Queen gem this one don't know how i missed this reaction glad it came up.Great reaction David.Freddies voice was angelic in the 70s for the most part . But then he would belt out Liar, Death On Two Legs and Stone Cold Crazy.
Thanks David for this reaction. Tho I was in my late teens when Queen recorded this I had never heard their first 2 albums. US radio just didn't play them, what a mistake. Good thing for you tube so I can go back and enjoy them now.
Just think this was made before computers, and synthesisers. All credit to them and the engineers. First album Queen used synths on was there 8 th studio album the game. I truly believe their music was designed to be listened with head phones on, or proper hiding with 2 speakers set apart for proper stero.
Thank you David for reuploading this one of my favourite Queen songs wishing you a very happy new year I hope it is good to you and congratulations to Brian May for being knighted in the New Years honour list x x
Love this song, thank you David! Have been searching for your reactions in vain, we’ve missed you! More Queen pls & don’t leave us for so long again!!🤣 Love from Oz.
I absolutely love this song! I don't quite grasp the meaning, but the music and lyrics are very catchy. Walk around singing this and see the looks you'll get if they don't know the song! There was a lot of time spent in the studio to master this one and that they did. I love Queen and I love your channel because you're the only one that "Jacks it Back" as much as I do!
On Side Black (as oppose to Side White) on the original album. Side Black written by Fred. You should review Ogre Battle- that was bloody great live...
Happy & Healthy-new year everyone… I really don’t get why you don’t have more subs Cos hopefully everyone here would agree you are without doubt THE best authentic knowledgeable reviewer of music online Happy n healthy new year guys xx 💋
Funny that you mention Prince. According to Freddie's personal assistant, Peter Freestone, Freddie was really impressed with Prince and would show people a VHS video telling them as be much. Freddy's voice was purer in his younger days-- keep in mind that he only started smoking in the mid-to-late 70s-- but he also developed new vocal techniques as he aged, so he was always a boss. I've also thought that Rodger Taylor sounds a lot like Rod Stewart
Again so happy your back and super excited to watch you do Face it Alone whenever your ready to do it I know you said on your live other day it might be tonight eeeerrkkkkkkkk. Happy New year xx
It's from Queen II - released in 1973. You are right about Rod Stewart - but it was definitely Roger.. It's the same costumes as in BoRhap. - the black and white period. Thank you for your reaction.
This is greatness. Love the church bells, the whole song, my second favorite Queen song.

Happy new year to you. We miss you.🥂
They had some nervous moments recording this - so many overdubs they almost wore the tape clear
All the time before computers and synthesisers, queen first used one on their eighth album the game.
Favourite all time record from my favourite all time album. Sheer class
