My wife comes from Sai Mai district and loves shopping at Union mall when we go back to Bangkok . We live in Newcastle Australia.

I've been to Union Mall several times. Most of the shops here cater to women. It's a nice place to get away from the crowds and to find good bargains in clothes and accessories for women.
Union Mall also has many nice places to eat. You can get there by MRT and BTS. Nice place to spend one afternoon and have a dinner.

Bangkok has so many shopping malls with beautiful clothing but majority of them are for petite sizes.
The vendors would have sell more if they carry larger sizes.

I don't really like shopping for clothes. I go to Platinum, I go in, get what I need, then leave. I don't see the need for all of that clothing. The prices are really good and if I ever travel with a clothes lover, we know where to go.
I would like to go for malls which offer stylish clothes which artistes wear 😊

This mall did not appeal to me. The clothes are more for youngsters or those with petite frames. Did not find anything interesting. It was rather dull. Personally I will never go back.

You can combine the trip to Union Mall with JJ (Chatuchak) market since they are 1 BTS train station away only
