    What is a difference between intensive pronoun and refleccive pronoun?

    • @aishmeensidhu4475
      @aishmeensidhu4475 2 года назад +1

      There is a difference.
      In a sentence,if we used reflexive pronoun, it can't be removed.but in intensive it can be removed .for eg. Extensive is I consider myself to be a great student. Here if you remove myself it will make no sense.
      Similarly, intensive - Mom drove me to school herself. If we remove herself even,the sentences remain unaffected..that's the difference!!

    • @NihirShah
      @NihirShah  6 лет назад +8

      Thanks a lot for your kind words.
      Yes, they but may sound similar, but there is a difference
      Intensive pronouns are not essential to a sentence’s basic meaning, whereas reflexive pronouns are needed.
      I will create a detail video on the same as I get time.

      @@NihirShah In 'Which colour do you prefer?' colour is adjective. You said pronoun. For it to be a pronoun, the sentence must be that which is your prefered colour.
      In 'Such a book costs 100 bucks.' such must be an adjective. To turn it to a pronoun, you should say, Such is the book that costs a hundred bucks.
      Please explain.
