Just thought of something - you mentioned installing Elementor. I have the Pro version of Elementor but only a 3-site license. Will installing Elementor on a local site count as one of my sites?

Hey, Jeffrey! I am new to Wordpress and I would like to ask some questions.
1) In order to practice wordpress and elementor for free without the need of hosting and domain is this the only way possible using Local?
2) If I make a website in Local and I decide to publish it will I be able to do it and how? I guess I'll need to export the files from Local and somehow place them in the wordpress website?

Aw thanks! I use a Sony a6400 with a Shure podcast mic. I’m traveling right now and using an Elgato key light while traveling. Back in my studio I use regular soft box lights.

Do you have a a tutorial for creating a wordpress website locally then migrating it to the live?
How do fix all the error issues? Anytime i try to install WordPress on my PC, when it get to installing WordPress, it just shows up some error.
so when i hit the wpadmin box, it opens wp on browser but I try loggin in and no luck. I've reset my password and still nothing. Now I am able to log in using the wp app on my phone and computer but now through the link it opens up using localwp
I wish i saw this before creating my WordPress site!!! Because i need access to things like plugins etc but i currently dont have access to that because i have paid!

Can we build out custom domain url structures and perform onpage seo on local before going live?

You can do most of the onsite and on page optimizations on your local and map out your url structure. But when you migrate back to the live site id go over the url structure 2-3x making sure the urls updated from the local url to the domain. Flush permalinks usually takes care of this but still, I’d triple check and then ping Google for indexing.
I was just about to ask about the migration when you mentioned that you’ll cover it in the next video. I’m guessing it’s not the same as migrating a live host site to another live host with some plugin 😅
Haha it actually is lol. I use All In One Migrate for all of it, live to live and local to live. It’s been a reliable solution I’ve used for years now.
@@LytboxStudio oh, I use that plugin all the time too. So you just export the local installation to a file, and import it to the live host as usual?
@@robertbamm7226 that’s it. Keep it simple and straight forward. Only thing is we need to make sure the emails in Elementor are updated (in the forms and where there’s mailto:email@email.com)

Nope, just install Local By Flywheel and add a WordPress site and you are good to go:)

No need for a WordPress account. This is only for your email to use on the site. You can use any email you like.
Good so far but how do I load my Elementor Pro?
Elementor doesn’t count your license for local sites. When you connect your Pro license, it automatically detects the .local
As long as you have 1 pro license, you can add to as many Local sites as you like

Good question. Local Host is only for building the site, not for running a website. It's best to do that on a live host.
Where do you go to create the login/password that it ask for when creating the new site?
Turn on the one-click-admin and you'll have access to your back end and can change your password then. You'll also set up you password and email when adding a new site. And there's an option to open WP Admin
Is there a way to create a blueprint containing an already installed Oxygen Builder?
Yep, you can add blueprints to Local By Flywheel

If the local downloaded on windows is deleted, the wordpress site will not work?
If you delete the local app then all the websites will be deleted. Make sure to use something like All in One Migration to export a copy of the website that can be uploaded on a hosted site.
Hii i installed it, but when i tried to open the site, it shows in the browser that this site cant be reached. Please let me know what i can do.
What browser and device are you using? Maybe there are permissions you need to set. Or maybe security software. Also try changing your default browser. I think Chrome will work best. I’ve seen issues with Edge. Also look at your browser extensions that could block

Thai happens when the /wp-admin is changed for security purposes.
If on Local By Flywheel, select on one click admin access.

Can you use elementor to?
Yes, you can use anything Wordpress. Also, if you are using Elementor Pro, using the local will count against the number of site license. Elementor detects the .local url and knows it’s a testing environment
Maybe someone can help me why when I have downloaded and click on wp admin and open site I get the error message 404 page not found nginx/1.16.0 can someone kindly help me please
This could be caused by your admin login url changing. Try using the 1 click login access in Local
