The Fighting Irish got the late-game defensive stops they needed to secure a 60-56 victory at home over Marist. Markus Burton paced Notre Dame with 21 points to go along with 3 rebounds and 3 assists. Tae Davis added 12 points, and Carey Booth chipped in 11 points and 6 boards.

Coach Screwberry has no energy as a coach. He is overweight & stands on the sideline doing nothing. And THAT don't sit well with me. If he wants to go into the transfer portal back to wherever he came from, the fans will help him fill out the paperwork! This 4 point victory is unacceptable. He is filling the shoes of the winningest coach in program history & he ain't gonna make it in this program.

To say Marist didn't play well enough to make this a game is silly. Notre Dame won a good game against a good Marist team. Stop being salty and blaming anyone for a victory. Doesn't that sound silly ?
